          { finn cole ♔ twenty two ♔ he/him } well, well, well if it isn’t colton hartley running around peach hollow. legend has it, they come from winchester university campus and have lived here for two years. if you’re wondering what they’ve been up to, i hear they’re a literature major & busboy at cloud nine club for a living. they have been known to be broody yet driven. a word of advice to them, always look over your shoulder. you never know who is watching.

          yooooo what’s good fam i’m desi and i’ll be ur colton hartley tour guide for the evening, pls keep ur feet and hands inside the vehicle at all times and get ready for a wild ride !!  i’m an electronic engineering student and i can’t do hands-on fun stuff anymore so i sit through boring ass lectures online every day aka i have heaps of time to rp asdjhfigukjdsf anyway onto the chap ur really here to read about !

wilmington, north carolina.  born and bred. his mother left the hartley household for good when he was a toddler, his father only seeming to care about the strange women who came in and out of their house ( never staying long ) and whatever substances would efficiently numb out the world. it seemed colton was set up for survival mode from the very beginning, and with his older sister at his side, the two made it out alive.

a stigma had been attached to the hartley household, no thanks to their parents, that colton fought against with every fibre of his being. while he did tend to struggle in school compared to the other kids who had involved, supportive parents, he still strived to do the best he possibly could. he didn’t want to be a loser like his dad, he wanted to succeed, to thrive in a world he’d never known.

academics weren’t his strong suit, that much was inevitable, but his passion for language arts and basketball was impeccable. without an allowance or much enthusiasm shown from his dad, colton took it upon himself to steal from his dad’s stash of drug money under his mattress, just enough to support the fees required to remain on the youth basketball team through the years.

parties were only attended in order to keep an eye on his sis, in his mind, but he eventually would loosen up and have fun with his friends. he was a hartley after all, not a stickler. as well as maintaining his grades and social life, he also picked up a job to help support himself and his sister, working as a busboy at one of the busiest restaurants in the city, where he sometimes ran into trouble. however, colton didn’t get into near as much shit as his big sister, still with a goal in mind and a desire to shake the stigma. any time she found herself backed into a corner, he was there to help get her out of it, like any good brother should. whether it be bailing her out with his paycheck from work or bailing her out with his wit and quick thinking, colton would never leave the older hartley to perish.

with a lot of hard work and perseverance, he graduated from high school and received a full ride scholarship to winchester university in peach hallow. instead of majoring in something that a sports career route would benefit, he opted to major in literature, while playing on the university’s basketball team for a slim chance of being scouted. he’s in his senior year and working at cloud nine club as a busboy in order to keep a comfortable flow of cash coming in.
