This is a single-column Tumblr theme with a choice between header, left or right sidebar, and body font (Google fonts) of your choice. Full support of npf posts. Optional dark/light mode toggle. Build in tabs for posts, about me and update tab - check out the previews.

Navigation: An unlimited display of native Tumblr pages (Learn how they work in my helpdesk here). Custom label for home + ask + archive link.

Sidebar Image icon: Choose between sizes 40x40px/60x60px/80x80px. Choose a shape between shapes square, rounded, circle or blob. Separate icons for light and dark mode! But If you want the same icon, simply upload it twice.

Dark Mode: If you decide to offer dark mode, it detects if the visitor’s operating system is on dark mode, and displays that choice at the first visit - of course with the option to toggle the other mode on/off.

Tabs: if you don't want about section or update section displayed, simply delete the text in the tab title.

Tab - About me section: All info can be changed directly in the customization panel! To change the stats icon see below under Icon change.

Icon change: To change the icons in the tabs section, update tab or about stas, go to phosphoricons.com and simply copy the name of the icon like so:

Via/source links are on permalink pages

to hide the archive link, simply delete the text in the field.

Submit-link and ask-link only shows if toggled on in your blog's settings.

🎧 NPF audio player ⋆

On Tumblr's process of changing everything to NPF, staff has added metadata (details) to NPF audio inserts to reflect what was originally entered when it was posted. Unfortunately, they're unstyled for now, so I wrote a plugin that mimics the appearance of Tumblr's legacy audio player.

[optional] preceding labels, e.g. "Track:" / "Artist:" / "Album"

[optional] placeholder text for empty fields, e.g. "Untitled Track"

shows album cover image if its comes with one, with customizable dimensions

In the last major update Tumblr did for posts (a while ago now), some post types were effectively deprecated, and they became (essentially) text-posts-and-a-thing, also known as NPF or Neue Post Format. This kind of made it a bit annoying to write themes for and cover, so let’s go over these real quick.

Nyiur

Nyiur is a header Tumblr theme for writing-heavy blogs. It’s simple and clean with readable fonts. A good theme for writers and blogger, but not limited for others. A redesign of my old theme that was made in 2016, under the same name.
