 An achkan is usually worn with a churidar or a dhoti.

Smriti Apparels, established on 14th February, 2000, is a family owned, designer wear store based in Kolkata, India.

Over the last 18 years, we are very blessed to have met people from around India & the world, stopping by and becoming a part of our esteemed clientele.

It all started when designer Anju Agarwal had an idea in the year 1996. A strong mother of three, she utilized her multi-tasking skills and put her creativity to work and launched her own designer wear label. With her dedication & hard work, four years later, Smriti Apparels was born.

Since then, there has been no looking back. In the year 2008, Anju Agarwal’s daughter, Anushree Agarwal, a design graduate from Raffles, Singapore, joined the business, bringing her own set of skills to the table. Soon after, Anushree Agarwal launched a designer wear label of her own, which is still a part of the same parent company, Smriti Apparels.
