Wednesday Jan 29th
~29hour fast~
I felt terrible about my binge yesterday and was planning on not eating for the rest of the week. I did, however, forget how much energy you gain after you eat. I also forgot how much hungrier you get. So, after trying my best all day, I started snacking on peanut butter in my dorm room (I need to get rid of it cause that’s a HUGE trigger food for me). Then after 2 or so hours I decided to just have dinner and fulfil my hunger. I took way too much food (didn’t eat everything pictured) but wasn’t so full I couldn’t walk. I am saying it right now, I am getting back on track, no more food until Sunday (at the least)!

Today was a high stress day. It was a bad anniversary, I got no sleep, I saw a phsychiatrist, I had a huge panic attack the day before, and was starving. Walking back from class at noon, I couldn’t help but stop at the cafeteria... and then go in... and then get a plate... and then another. Luckily I didn’t eat the entirety of what was pictured, but I ate so much that I cried and could hardly walk. My mood switched randomly throughout the day and I was crazy bloated. The calories were very high and I’m not happy with myself. I had a 4.4lb gain after this meal.

Friday Jan 24th - Monday 27th
After getting back to Laramie, I was quite busy and alone. I had some relationship issues and was very stressed. I did a huge fast that I am very proud of and realized that the “traditional” you-haven’t-eaten effects (dizziness, tiredness, hunger pains) go away after your 3-4th day of not eating. This was actually quite fun and I want to challenge myself to more of these looong fasts.

Today was my last day home, so my mom treated me to a lunch at my favorite restaurant. I tried not to worry about calories and got a Pico De Gallo and Avocado Burger with fries and chipotle mayo. (It was so good!!) I only ate half the burger, but I had quite a bit of mayo and all the fries. I did eat past the point of just feeling full though. I didn’t eat for the rest of today. I’m so excited to be back!

I got decent sleep last night and was at the food pantry from 8-12. I was planning on eating a good miso soup with tofu tonight, but my dad brought in donuts and to curb my craving I had peanut butter powder. I then decided to actually have a meal and have veggie straws with salsa. Another thing I love with salsa is cheese, so I added some shredded cheese. I then was mindlessly snacking and had some actual peanut butter with m&m’s from this trail mix bag and then a handful of blueberries. I don’t count this as a binge because it didn’t emotionally feel like a binge, but I punished myself without dinner and went for an hour long walk because I was mad at myself.

Tuesday January 21
Last night I got a decent amount of sleep, I was planning on eating the sweet potatoes I had and some noodles, but I didn’t know how to cook them. I had a midday snack of some Pb powder. Then I went for a 45min walk with my dogs and then did an hour long yoga class, but when I got back I didn’t know what to eat. I made myself some sweet potato fries in the air fryer with some fry sauce. I didn’t eat them all, but they made me super full and were really good.
