"It's a bit of a remote town, so I can hardly blame you." Even the majority of those who lived in Snakeland were often unfamiliar with the town. And had she forgotten her hospitality? "Don't be afraid to ask if you need anything, as a shopkeeper, it's my business to help any visitors. Not just customers."
"Ah, this place is called ‘Enbizaka’, then? Please forgive my ignorance, for this town is very unfamiliar to me. I am but a visitor in this place." He’d never had a reason or an opportunity to visit this country before. He was only here now because he was accompanying Yukina, who claimed that she was doing research here. He couldn’t imagine what she might be researching, though.

"Ah, I almost didn't notice you in the wave of people." A bow, for an apology - wait, this was her. Was this necessary? ...Well, best to be polite.
She giggled; it was amusing, having a conversation with another her. "I'm absolutely fine, Miss Kayo." Clearing her throat, she added, "So! Do anything interesting lately?"
"Need anything? No. I can assure you I will be fine. After all, this is my shop!" She didn’t seemed surprised by her doppelgänger. After all, they had spoken before.
"How are you today, Miss Kayo?"

"My mother was a tailor as well; I inherited her scissors, among other things. Like the shop!" ...Kayo may not have been the most collected person.

"I'm sorry that I can't pinpoint an exact date, but I started when I was very young." Oh, and she should respond to the other's comment, in addition to her question. "And of course I'm not lonely now; I'm very grateful for your presence."
The tailor’s attitude seemed a bit strange to Michaela, but she pushed the thought away. Looking around, she admired the workmanship of various items.

"Well, I’m here right now, so you aren’t lonely, I hope. I really do like all your work. When did you start tailoring, if I may ask?"

"Would you happen to be lost?" Most people recently had been, after all, and she looked like a foreigner. "Nice to meet you, Chartette. Even if you aren't about to order an outfit, let me know if there's anything I can help with. One should always be courteous to visitors, after all!"
"The Sudou tailor shop in Enbizaka." And most people hadn’t been familiar with that, right? "IWhich is in Snakeland." She bowed. "I’m Kayo Sudou."

"Glad to see you've sewn the light."
"Are you a giant octopus? Because you’re consuming my thoughts." “Are you a clockwork doll? Because you’re stealing my love.” “Are you my father’s house? Because you’re smokin’.”

"Michaela, huh? Nice name." She looked slightly familiar, although Kayo may have been imagining it.

"Yes, I tailor all types of clothes. It's fun, although I do get a bit lonely sometimes." It was sad. Kayo was sad. ...Wasn't she? "My lover would be here, except - I'm not sure." A bit of an awkward laugh; that hadn't been the most normal thing to say.
Enbizaka..? That was in Levianta….wasn’t it? Agh, she’d ended up so far from Elphegort!

"I-I’m Michaela. Likewise, Sudou-san," she replied, curtsying a bit clumsily. "You said this was a tailor shop? Aah, that’s amazing! Do you tailor any type of clothes?"

"Unfortunately, I am." She giggled, trying to seem happy. "How do you know where I'm from...?" A pause. "Well, if I'm... wherever this is, I might as well take a break to chat."

"You’re lost?" Riliane asked. "Oh my…We’ll have to go with the old-fashioned procedures. You are from Levianta, right? The town of Enbizaka? I can send you back if you wish!"

"The Sudou tailor shop in Enbizaka." And most people hadn't been familiar with that, right? "IWhich is in Snakeland." She bowed. "I'm Kayo Sudou."
“Um, hi, Miss…” Chartette began, looking slightly confused. “Can you please tell me where I am? I’m afraid I’m lost…”

"I think we may be a bit confused; the murders were a year ago. ...Unless that's what you meant?" The conversation had gotten a tad confusing. Except, of course, for the part concerning clothing. And scissors. "It makes sense that scissors would be different, so far away. I mean, clothes certainly are!"
"Huh? No, no, I meant the murders I had heard rumors of before… And thank you." Not that she wrong, but that wasn’t important. On the other hand, the date combined with the scissors brought the details of the murders to memory. "Oh, they’re rather nice. They’re a different kind of scissors than the ones in Marlon. Ours are joined at the middle."

She continued to smile. "Nice to see you too." And noting the other's search through the shop, she added, "Let me know if there's anything you want."

"Ah, nice to see you, Kayo." The princess smiled back at the pinkette, looking around the shop after, cerulean hues looking through the different fabrics of clothing.

She was just confused by the wording, right? "No, it's currently EC 843." Unless... "Are you from the future?" And my, that was quite a pretty knife. Maybe she should sell some alongside her outfits; they were like jewelry, only practical. "Oh, that is rather pretty. Here, let me show you my scissors." She pulled them out, and presented them to Michelle. There may or may not still be some blood left on the scissors.
"Oh, it was more than a hundred years ago, then," she said with a laugh. "How could I lose track of time that badly? Ahaha!" She was of course bluffing, and rather terribly at that, but she wasn’t too concerned about her quality. "I find them easiest, and some are rather gorgeous, I think." She pulled out a knife with small blue stones embedded in the base of a silver handle, holding it by the blade.

"Good day to you, as well." She hummed in greeting, not as cheerily as the other, but giving an attempt. And then raised her hand to her chin, obviously in thought. After a prolonged pause, she added, "...I seem to have gotten lost."

"Good day to you!" Riliane chimed, giving her well wishes for the day. Despite this woman being a sinner, she really took it upon herself to be nice. Riliane knew that no person deserved any less, even though they had committed atrocious sins.

She wasn't sure if she knew any other vegetarians, as the town was rather small, but really, it wasn't all that weird. "That's fine with me. Fewer ingredients means less work, right?" At least in the preparation, that is. "Is there anything you wouldn't mind chatting about while I cook? I don't often get company, you see."

"That would be fine." Living in Lucifenia, you learned not to be picky. After all, most of the food went to the selfish princess. Of course, it didn’t bother Gumillia that much, considering most of her diet before being a human consisted of nuts and trauben fruit. Although she did have one request. "If at all possible, could you not include meat? I am a vegetarian." Living as an animal for so long, she found it hard to eat them.

As she opened the door, she announced, "I'm home, mother!"
And as she spoke, she was greeted like a stranger, asked why she was here, told to sit down and introduce herself. Well, she couldn't see any harm in doing as told, even if her mother was acting kind of absent-minded.
She sat where indicated, and then, looking up at the other woman, said, "I'm not here to shop; I'm Kayo Sudou, your daughter." ...Though she couldn't remember the last time she'd seen her; it had been quite a while.
snakelandspringscissors has entered the shop~
It had been a long day, void of customers, but filled with work. Hisayo had stacks of commissions to work on and still hadn’t prepared dinner for Ka-chan yet. Where was Ka-chan, anyways? Why did she never come home? With a sigh, the ravenette folded a large sheet of green silk, turning her head to see the door that was gently sliding open. “Hello, ma’am” she greeted to the figure at the door “Welcome to my humble shop. My name is Hisayo Sudou, and I shall do everything in my power to assist you. Now, do you have a piece to commission or would you just like to take a look around?” The greeting was recited near mechanically, like she was an actor performing a stage play she had preformed a hundred times before. She did not recognize the woman standing in the door frame. Especially not with hair like that! Surely she would remember someone with such an absurd hair colour! “Come on in, take a seat~ And please do tell me your name”

She'd forgotten what she came out for by this time, and was standing in the street, trying to remember. She had been for what seemed like quite a while, and then -
Someone ran into Kayo. And then apologized profusely. Well, the only thing to do with that is apologize back. "Ah, I could have been paying more attention!" A bow, as she brushed back some hair that had been misplaced by the collision. "I'm really sorry."
And she'd misplaced a hairpin in the incident - she should have noticed earlier, but apologizing momentarily overwrote the concern - and hey, there was something else on the ground. That definitely wasn't hers. She picked it up, and outstretched her hand, offering it to him. "Here, you dropped this."
Another hasty bow. "I'm sorry; I should have introduced myself earlier. I'm Kayo Sudou." She stood back up, smiling. "It's nice to meet you, even if it is in such an unconventional way."
snakelandspringscissors has encountered the Clockworker
One of the warning signs was the cold and dizzy feeling that reigned over the town at that moment; with rifts or other such anomalies, the air became a vacuum for heat, causing skin to tingle and wind to swirl. Even if the sun was out, it felt like an overcast day
Kirill was so busy turning the new ring over in his hand that he didn’t notice the weather. He also didn’t notice anyone else on the street—nor did he notice the lack of anyone else on the street. The only thing in his eyes were the gems dusted by light in their silver and gold settings; his savings for the last three months.
It was the best choice in the store, but the shape was so simple and the materials didn’t blind him in direct sunlight and it was just not… There must be some way to improve it, complicate the threadbare message that this ring conveyed.
I guess if I keep going on like this I’ll never work up the nerve to—
He bumped into the lady standing in the street, uttering a yelp and dropping the ring. ”Oops! Sorry, I didn’t see you there…” his apology was touched with a self-deprecating smile, looking on the woman. “Sorry…”

"Hehe, it really is no problem." Wandering over to the pantry and surveying its contents, she said, "Ah, you don't mind stew, do you? I seem to be a bit low on ingredients." Regardless, she started gathering up various things and moving others around. She would enjoy the food regardless of whether her guest did, after all.

Well, it was probably rude to decline such an offer. “Thank you,” Gumillia replied, “You are really too kind.” She was very lucky to have happened upon this tailorshop, really. Many others would be confused, question her odd clothing, and be uncomfortable. This woman was kind. Gumillia offered a small smile in thanks, hoping it wasn’t too awkward.
