Took Lia T to the vet today because she has been very very bad about eating recently. (She’s been eating maybe once every other month for the last 6 months or so) and I wanted to be sure she wasn’t sick because there’s been no change to her habitat or anything. Vet said she was ok, no URI or weird body abnormalities and that she isn’t too skinny, just sorta normal.
The vet gave us a bottle of vitamins and told us to use a syringe to give Lia T a dose of this stuff every day for two weeks. Which, seems really stressful for her and is a two-person job and I don’t entirely know the benefits of it?? There was a bit of a language barrier between the vet and I but I was wondering if anyone else with ball pythons has ever had this sort of thing?? TLDR; Reptiblr, my vet persribed my picky non-eating ball python to have vitamins syringed into her mouth daily. Has anyone else had an experience like this? I don’t want to stress her out unduely!!

The flip side of her being comfortable with me and my appendages close to her face is, that I literally can’t contain her, unless I close the lid. She’s just eager to explore her surroundings and all the breakable things that she’ll push off the table in the process be damned!
