ROTTMNT: Retired Leo AU
When Casey gets sick, the boys try to take care of him.
--
Down With The Sickness 2: Another Sickness
Casey blinks awake in his bed with no desire to get up. His eyes are sore; his nose feels stuffed; his throat itches. As he tries to force his heavy body up, he feels a cough and suppresses it into his arm.
“Oh no,” he croaks.
Raph, Leo, Donnie, and Mikey sit in the kitchen, silently eating a breakfast of sugary cereals as they stare at their phones. They don’t even look up when Casey walks in.
“Mornin’, Case,” Leo says.
“Morning,” he mumbles, barely audible as he pours himself a glass of water and downs it in two gulps. Then he pours another.
“You want some cereal, Casey?” Mikey asks, holding up the box.
“No-,” Casey croaks and tries to clear his throat. “N-no, I’m alright, thanks.”
Without another word, he goes into the empty living room and sits on the chair, cradling his glass. Raph stares after him, suspiciously narrowing his eyes.
“You feeling alright, Casey?” he asks, “you look...pale.”
“I’m fine,” he mumbles and again clears his throat. Now all of the turtles are looking at him curiously.
“You’re not sick, are you?” Donnie asks accusingly, covering his mouth and nose in the crook of his elbow.
“N-no,” Casey replies quickly.
“It’s probably because we were playing out in the rain the other night,” Leo remarks.
“I-I’m not sick,” Casey insists as he stands up. “I’ll be fine after a hot shower. No big deal.”
The turtles stare after him as he walks away then look at each other.
“Yeesh, defensive much,” Donnie scoffs.
“Yeah, what’s the big deal if he is sick?” Mikey shrugs, “it’s probably just a cold.”
“Eh, it’s Casey so he’ll fine,” Leo points out.
“Still though, we should keep an eye on him,” Raph says, “just in case.”
They all finish breakfast and go into the TV room to hang out. It isn’t until an hour later when they realize they haven’t seen Casey yet.
“He’s not still in the bathroom, is he?” Raph asks, glancing down the hall.
“I think I heard him go into his room,” Donnie replies.
“Maybe we should check on him,” Mikey suggests, “make sure he didn’t pass out or something.”
“Yeah, alright,” Leo agrees.

Cyberpunk 2077: Cyberpsycho Fan
V hunts down a cyberpsycho who is a big fan of a certain rockerboy.
--
V rides her Arch motorcycle through the streets of Kabuki, stopping outside a rundown apartment building. She parks on the curb and goes through the front door.
There have been reports of screaming, almost animalistic, and loud crashing noises from the top floor. Regina Jones suspects it could be a cyberpsycho and sent V to investigate.
The merc climbs the stairs to the top, lingering for a moment when she hears a couple of residents talking.
“It’s quieted down finally,” one of them says.
“Yeah. She’s been screaming for days,” the other adds, “maybe now I can finally get some sleep.”
V arrives to the top floor and approaches the suspected apartment. It’s locked but she easily pulls the door open with her strength. She steps inside and immediately freezes in shock.
The apartment is dark, the shades on all the windows drawn closed. It’s an absolute mess; the kitchen appliances are knocked to the floor and the living room furniture lie about unceremoniously. But that’s not what has thrown V off.
The walls and floors are practically plastered with pictures of Kerry Eurodyne.
Some of them are official, from interviews and such. Others were clearly taken without the rockerboy’s knowledge. Some are from his early days, others are more recent. Almost all of them have hearts drawn on them with messages of undying, obsessive love.
“Well, that’s disturbing,” Johnny comments, appearing to lean against the door frame. “Finger on the trig, V.”
With a quick scan with her Kiroshis, V sees the apartment is empty, but she still keeps her pistol ready. She walks hesitantly through the combined kitchen and living room to the bedroom door and steps inside.
Just like the other rooms, this room is also covered in pictures of Kerry. Many of them are scattered on the bed and crinkled, as if they’ve been slept on.
The single window has been smashed from the inside. V looks through it and sees the ground below has been cracked, like something heavy landed there.
“No sign of the cyberpsycho,” she muses, “they must’ve left recently.”
She spots a laptop on the nightstand and turns it on. “Maybe we can figure out where they’ve gone.”

Borderlands: Skies the Ultimate Treasure Hunter
Skies and her crew fight Captain Scarlett's crew and find Captain Red-eye's treasure hoard.
--
The Treasure of Captain Red-eye Part 4
Skies, Moze, Zane, Amara, FL4K, Sasha, Pickle, Valentine, and Frette stay rigidly still as they stare at the guns of dozens of pirates and the aimed cannons of their ship. In front of her crew stands Captain Scarlett with a friendly smile.
“Wh-whoa, whoa there,” Valentine says quickly, raising his hands. “N-no need for such violence. From one pirate to another, we can handle this peacefully.
“Oh, don’t call yourself a pirate, sweetie,” Scarlett scolds, “it makes the rest of us look bad.”
“I-I’m just saying,” he continues, “there’s no need for you to kill us. I mean, if the legends are true, Red-eye should’ve left behind a ton of treasure. You can let us take some and there’ll still be plenty for you and your crew.”
“But why would we let you live and take some treasure, when we can just easily kill you and take it all?” Scarlett asks.
Valentine deflates with defeat and Skies steps forward. “Give it up, Valentine. There’s no bargaining with her.”
“I’ve heard of you, Captain Scarlett,” she says, “you and your Sand Pirates originated on Pandora before graduating to space pirates. Congrats.”
“Oh, thank you,” Scarlett beams, “it was not easy.”
“That being said,” Skies continues, “you think we’re just gonna so easily surrender?”
“I suppose you wouldn’t,” she replies, “Skies the Ultimate Treasure Hunter.”
Scarlett raises her hook hand and her crew begins to fire. Moze immediately summons her Iron Bear and blocks the shots as her friends dive out of the way of the hole.
Zane throws down his Barrier in front of Iron Bear to block the rest of the shots. As Moze fires back into the pirates with her mini-guns, Zane sends out his Zoomer drone. It flies out of the hole and systematically assassinates pirate after pirate, but as it flies near Scarlett, she swings her hook hand and slices it in half.
Skies peeks around the wall and glares at the main ship, her cybernetic eye zooming in on it. She can see crewmen prepping the front cannons.
“We gotta take out that ship,” she snaps.
“I got it,” Sasha declares as she loads her launcher. “Soldier girl! On my mark, get out of the way!”
“Got it!” Moze replies.

I'm gonna say it.
It's unhinged to assume that someone's taste in fiction equates to what they believe is moral or good, or is something they want to see or experience in real life.
That is a bonkers assumption to make.
I'm tired of humoring people with long arguments about it when the simple fact is it is a totally fucking absurd reach to accuse someone who enjoys something in fiction of being in favor of it in real life.
I'm tired of pretending like this is a legitimate position to hold-- that they should be afraid of fiction's dire influence on a reader's moral decay or that it's a sign of what the author secretly wants for realsies in real life.

Whoo! I've never had this many followers on any of my platforms, so this is a real accomplishment, and it only felt right to do a drawing for the special occasion! I know it might not seem like a lot to most people, but for me, this is amazing!
Thank you to all my followers and to the people who pop in to say hello, even if you don't stick around!
