Henry Emily has always been a morally gray character.. Yall switchin’ up on him don’t understand…

love Henry Emily. Something about a character that is so conflicting is just awesome. Connection Terminated, his self deletion, and just dialouge in general shows us he is a deeply depressed man.

BUT, I feel in a way, that depression is kind of self-loathing or stewing in his own guilt. He started out feeling great from his connection with Afton, I mean, they became super successful. He is known to push things under the rug.. Hence the whole cassette man era. Yet, he is ALSO shown to be proactive in the creation of toy animatronics… He never looses his connection with the company, rather than just running away, it seems he tries to fix things.

However, that never does excuse what he did, and I think he *knows* that. That no matter what he does he lives with the guilt of falling into Afton’s trap and participating in it..

I DESPERATLY want to know EXACTLY when it hit Henry that Afton was nothing but a manipulative maniac.

I want to get in the mind of Henry Emily, how aware was he of everything? Did he purposefully and completely knowingly betray Edwin? Or was he manipulated by William?

i want to know.

I'm gonna post this twitter thread in the main tags because I think it explains everything of concern with the new game pretty thoroughly! I see a lot of people freaking out (I also did at first because of what I heard)

old information we have about Henry and William and the animatronics is basically untouched, they still made most everything, the new game just adds extra context and information to what was going on back when fazbear entertainment was getting off the ground. it makes sense for henry & william to not have made literally every single animatronic since fazbear ent. is a big chain of locations, but that doesn't mean they weren't responsible for plenty of stuff on their own still

Not trying to be mean, but since Secret of the Mimic is coming out 2 months, I wanted to asked you something.

How do you feel about the Mimic being a tragic villain?

I know you drew your interpretation of the Mimic with Helpy, Gregory, and Glamrock Freddy without knowing the lore from the Tales books, but you considering that Edwin (the Mimic’s creator) was name dropped SECONDS in the 2nd SOTM trailer….

Most of the fandom’s view of him being an irredeemable monster with the motive of just imitating Afton is going become outdated pretty soon.

Hey thanks! My answer … Im trying to get thru the fazbear frights books, ttftpp books never rlly interested me, even tho they contain crucial lore about some of the sb origins.

Im really hoping they do the mimic good. I truly don’t believe he’s just a imitation of afton… but I like the idea he’s fully aware of who he is. The mimic could be an even greater villain than afton if he’s done right, bc he’s still his own entity and should be executed as one. Im kind of thrown off by these new characters like Edwin and burrows… who literally sound like a replica of Henry and William, but im just hoping this game will clear up questions for things
