When I was in college, I had an off-campus apartment. I'd hang out with my best friend until late and then ride my bicycle across the small town, I think 8-ish blocks. It was always late and the lights were on since it was dark outside and I'd stare longingly at the families inside the lit windows. I've missed having family—adults who cared and could help me, for so long!
