     Chris blinked, a little confused at how her face seemed to change from second to second. Did he say something weird? Or something that merely overwhelmed her? Maybe the softball team simply didn’t have a training menu so far–

    Well, seems like they did.

     “it’s alright. You can just get it now if you don’t mind.”, he replied. “Do you want me to wait here then?” He didn’t want to intrude in case the softball team wasn’t so fond of visitors (which he could somehow understand). 

“Really? Oh thanks a bunch. Oh you can come with. I’m sure they wouldn’t care.” Rin gave a tiny shrug at that before a huge grin came to her face. “Maybe you can tease our catcher. She is soooo annoying sometimes. Thank god I’m not a pitcher. I have no clue how they deal with her sarcastic self.” Rin trailed off a bit before shaking her head.

She couldn’t see any issue with Chris coming to the field. Besides it wasn’t like they were gonna stay there for long. Just long enough to get the training menu then head off after that. Besides the only person she could see maybe being annoyed was one of the managers. Of course that was a maybe.

     Chris must’ve looked a little surprised - and he honestly was. The baseball team knew of his knowledge and he was used to them seeking his advice on certain things, but he actually never thought that the girl’s softball team would pay much attention to him too or even ask him for help.

     “I’d be glad to help”, he answered after a short pause of thinking about it. “I might have to do some research though.” Although girls were just as capable of doing anything that boys did, their physique was usually weaker by nature; so of course it would be different to gain stamina (not more difficult though). “Do you have a current training menu I could have a look at?”

Rin gave a small smile as she looked at Chris. The fact that he said he’d be glad to help cause a feeling of relief to wash over. Giving a soft sigh the brunette bowed a bit. “Thank you for this I mean it.” Getting ready to say something else she heard him ask if she had a current training menu. Her eyes widened a bit before she groaned out and rubbed her head a bit. “Ah no. Not on me at this moment. Sorry.”

Well now she just felt stupid. ‘Stupid Rin you should know that you need to give him a menu if you want him to help you.’ she thought to herself before puffing her cheeks out. Rin thought a bit before tapping her chin. “Maybe I can get it real quick so you can look at it.” she said quickly.

Rin glanced up at the male and arched her brow a bit. Well he was taller than she thought he was. Taking in a deep breath she gave a small smile. “I’m Nakahara Rin from the girls’ softball team. I was wondering if there was any way you could help us out.”

Blinking she shifted a bit before looking off to the side slightly. She looked at him again before nodding a bit. “Our manager said that we need to improve our body conditioning and I thought since you were able to help out the boys if it was possible and didn’t affect anything if you’d be willing to do that for us. If not I understand.”

     Chris had just returned from checking on their first-year pitchers, holding onto a few score books as he went through them, when he stopped in his tracks, head turning into the direction the voice came from.

     It was definitely not one of their managers’ since they all called him by his first name by now - just like almost everyone else from the team. Still, he remembered her, so it was only natural for him to close the score books again, curious eyes resting on her to give her his undivided attention.

The small female looked up a bit and stared at the male in front of her. He had stubble and it was enough to make her narrow her eyes a bit. He looked familiar. “I feel like I should know you....of course I don’t but...wait....you. Did you go to Seido?” 

She remembered seeing a picture of the baseball team somewhere. Maybe his name would sound familiar from all the times she went to the baseball games when she didn’t have her own softball games to worry about.

Brown eyes stared at the baseball field before she looked at her phone. She had gotten a message from their manager talking about how they need to change some things and to ask the boys for their input. A soft sigh left Rin as she looked around for the boy’s manager, Chris.

She heard a lot about him and how he had been helping the others condition their bodies. Scanning the field and other areas the female spotted the brown haired male. “Ah excuse me! Takigawa-san! I was wondering if I could talk to you really quick.”
