I made a safe space community for those on the neurodivergent spectrums! Any all all neurodiverse are accepted!

This is an open community celebrating, talking about, and sharing experiences for those on the spectrum of neurodivergence! Memes and info-dumps welcome! I invite any and all that would like to join in!

The current name of the community is a potential placeholder and voting is going on for the name!

Sorry to worry anyone, I have an update.

Thank you to those that have been leaving asks and messages checking up on me. The past little bit has been…hectic to say the least.

You all know I’m a trucker. I drive 18 wheelers for a living. A couple of weeks ago I was hired to pull from Arizona to California as a route that would last about two weeks. January 7th, the wildfires started and it was fine at first. It wasn’t anywhere near where I needed to be. Then it got a lot bigger and people started evacuating and blocking the roads. My truck got stuck because people in front of us were abandoning their cars. Luckily, I was near where they started bulldozing and was able to get my truck out. My route was cancelled, obviously, so I had to make my way back home. Me and my partner ended up spending about four days ferrying a couple of evacuating families. In the mess, my iPad, my laptop, and my Switch got stolen. I don’t want to say it was from one of the families we helped, but it was around the time. I don’t blame them, though. They’d be needing all the money or happiness they can get. I wasn’t the one who lost my house.

As it is, I’ve now lost years of drawings and projects. Months of work. All of my fanart and the like. For now, until I can afford a new iPad after a few repairs to the truck, I will not be posting art. I may transition to doing little dribbles and ficlets for a bit, depending on how things go, but I do not see myself being the most active for a while.

I am sorry I was unable to keep up communication, but it was with reason.

So, for now, I am going to be taking a long hiatus. Thank you all for your interactions and I hope to be able to talk with you all soon!

It’s just my little persona! Certified creature!

The two little “whiskers” are technically little bunny paws and can move around based on emotion or movement! The idea for the design is the personal separation I feel with my own body at times. Sometimes I feel like a little bunny piloting this shadow suit so— bunny head sitting on a body.

That and it’s easy and quick to draw! It’s honestly fun just working with a little silhouette rather than a fully detailed design. It makes it more fun to mess around with.

Yup! I’m one part of a two person team! I doodle in the back when it’s not my turn to drive before I go to sleep. I have phone data so I can be online, but I can’t post from my iPad which I draw on because it’s WiFi only otherwise I’d post on the road in between switch outs. I don’t have hotspot though. When I home, I finalize what I doodle with lineart and color if I feel it’s something I want finished.

As I’ve mentioned before: my art is home sourced and non-toxic! Perfectly edible but may not be suited for all tastes!

I usually fill several pages of doodles at once then over time line and color them! It helps to keep things the same style and trying to fill the page helps with motivation. The sketches don’t have to be perfect, just using the main shapes of the characters together. Afterwards, pick which one you want to do next, clean up the sketch, line and color, then you’re done!

It also helps to have set aside free time.
