As a nurse in the US, I think we’re overlooking an important avenue to advocate for trans healthcare. Please email/call your local hospitals and clinics. Look on their websites for the Chief Medical Officers (CMO), Chief Nursing Officers (CNO) and Chief Administrative Officers. Call or email these people directly.

Here’s a copy of what I sent to mine at my place of employment:

Dear Dr. xxxxxxxx and xxxxxx,

I know you must be inundated with emails and I appreciate that you’re taking the time with mine. As an (xxxxxx hospital) employee and patient, I take pride in our hospital. As a member of the LGTBQ + community I’ve been especially proud of the transgender care we provide to our communities. The fact that (xxxxx hospital) provides state-of-the-art gender affirming care has been extremely important to me on a personal and professional level.

The current federal administration has made clear pushes to end transgender education, research, and medical care. Given (xxxxx hospital’s) commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, it seems essential to send a strong statement that we continue to stand by our patients and provide transgender healthcare.

Please be our true north in these frightening times. Please tell your employees and all the world that (xxxxx hospital) will continue to abide by our values. Please tell us that you will continue to provide transgender healthcare.

Okay so just to sum up recent events on the US Right:

• Trump starts a contract with Peter Thiel's Palantir company to create a database of ALL INFORMATION on EVERY LIVING AMERICAN

• Its revealed Stephen Miller and Elon Musk have had a very massive fight, supposedly because Elon Musk is sleeping with Miller's wife

• Trump ousts Elon from the administration, after over five months of being besties. Leaves with Stephen Miller's wife, who he just hired at one of his companies (!?)

• Elon starts saying the Big Beautiful Bill sucks

• A GOP Representative reveals that most of them didnt actually get to read the Big Beautiful Bill, GOP leadership basically made them rubber stamp it and they are pissed to find out it makes them all look horrible. A lot of them are now discussing a shakeup in GOP leadership.

• Trump says Elon has "Trump Derangement Syndrome" (🤮)

• Elon escalates massively, stating that Trump is in the Epstein files and THATS why they havent released them yet

• This comes right as Alex Jones loses a massive chunk of his audience because he's endorsing Trump's Palantir contract, and his fans are basically all very concerned about their privacy. They want a new conspiracy to follow and they just got one

• Trump starts threatening Elon's government contracts

• Ian Miles Cheong calls for Trump to be impeached immediately, and for JD Vance to become President. Elon Musk quote retweets this with "Yes"

• JD Vance was mentored by Peter Thiel

• Steve Bannon takes to Fox calling for the immediate deportation of Musk, and making SpaceX a public company

Can you imagine Jason and Dick in an undercover job?? Dick witnessing Jason being the Red Hood like muscle and dark intimidator he's heard rumors of? It's like no that's not my brother, we're better now he's not like that.

And have a job go belly up and see his brother in danger and he's acting like it's nbd, and Dick's ptsd /big brother mode goes bananas and is like I am not risking you again! Little wing you're coming with me or i will go in there and break some heads!

Jason doesn't believe him. Still doesn't when they get out. There's a few goons that end up in a coma he won't find out about for a while that Dick took care of.

Or worse, Dick goes into it primed to be protective of his brother and instead he sees up close and personal how terrifying Red Hood is. How ruthless he was before the Batfamily reeled him back in. How many rules he breaks that Bruce would agonize over.

Meanwhile, Jason is sweating trying not to feel Dick’s judgement and fall back into this old pattern without hating himself. And yeah, also seeing DICK be scary and untouchable as his pseudo bodyguard/second in command. Dick, the golden boy, down in the mud with him gritting his teeth saying don’t touch him to a rival gang member.
