Man do I LOVE being a multishipper and not a miserable person that shits on other ships.
I play in all the fields babe I don’t care. Loumand, Loustat, Claudeleine, Claudia and Charlie, Lesmand, Devils minion, Danlou, Danstat, nickistat, nickimand, akashastat, khaymand, Armand and Riccardo, Armand and Bianca, Pandora and Gabrielle. Hell even Marimand and gabistat if that rocks your boat.
I love having so many dolls to play with.

So many people do not allow Armand to be a nuanced character. He is not just a lamb or just a wolf, he is both. He is not just a victim or just a villain, he is both. But his villainous traits can all stem back to his trauma. He became a villain because he was first a victim. And he may not even understand how some of his actions are villainous. He wants love and romance, but he literally does not know how to properly love someone because of what was done to him. He is toxic, but not because he wants to be. He just doesn't know any other way to be. Daniel said Louis needed a 100 sessions of EMDR, but Armand needs that plus DBT, plus some humanistic therapy, and who knows what else. He was a victim of human trafficking as a child, rape, grooming, domestic violence, two different kidnappings, forced indoctrination into a cult, torture, and he had to watch multiple people he cared for be murdered via a bonfire. He was also forced to kill his best friend and then had his rotting corpse left in the cell with him. Of course, he's not going to be normal after all of that. It's amazing he's not ten times worse. Most people, if they even survived everything Armand went through, would not crave love and do their best to obtain it even if they go about it in all the worst ways. They would only ever hate and fear others. There would be no love left in them at all.

Hello Lestat, I have been a vampire for around as long as you maybe longer, I was born in French inhabited America but returned to France to live up until the end of the revolution. What was/ is your opinion of the atrocities that took place?
//ooc; This has been sitting in my inbox for a month, I’m not a history buff and not into historical politics, and I did ask around, but it’s tough to answer. What would he remember about that? Vampires supposedly have perfect memories. What are his opinions? VC does not get very political.

[X by feelin-g-alittle-strange]
“By day I almost forgot the vision of the inn, and the darkness. Unless, of course, … I happened upon a public execution in the place de Grave.
And I was always happening upon a public execution in the place de Grave.
I’d wander out of the square shuddering, almost moaning. I could become obsessed with it if not distracted.” - The Vampire Lestat (p.1, ch.7)
He wasn’t a vampire at that point, but clearly those public executions had an impact on him bc he brings it up later as a vampire. Even though he causes death often, death as spectacle is different. Still, he doesn’t suggest that they shouldn’t have done it.
The French Revolution took his brothers, their wives, and all his nieces and nephews, and as much as he despised his brothers, he still took care of his father until the end of his life in New Orleans, and he still had a dream that he turned his whole family into vampires, so what that means to you as a reader is up for interpretation.
Anyone can comment. What do you think any of the vampires’ opinion is/was of the atrocities that took place during the French Revolution?

Ludinus Da’leth talks a lot of shit for a guy whose origin story boils down to: “I wasn’t on the Titanic but my family died because of an unrelated iceberg incident and now I glorify the Titanic and its time period and have become an eco-terrorist in the name of destroying the polar ice caps.”
