atp you should just stop making so many apologies.. if you were sorry you would have said this way earlier . now you’re just dragging it out further than it has to be, which is making it look worse for all of you. we get it, you said it, you’ve all apologized atleast ten times .. move on 😭

i have had multiple asks in the past 24 hours asking for a more genuine apology. my first one was extremely genuine and from the bottom of my heart. i have since then been adjusting it to say what i mean in a way that’s more clear and understandable because i think my words and message were jumbled the first time around. i am not dragging anything on more than what others are dragging on and saying to me. both in my inbox and the inbox of others. it’s hard to move on from a situation when every single person i see is talking about it

TRUTHFULLY the last one because i think i have finally been able to portray my words the way ive been meaning to from the beginning.

first and foremost, i am grateful that i was called out for this. i’m truthfully glad that there’s people who were willing to educate us on this term instead of yelling in inboxes the way some people did. some people even went as far as telling me to end it. throughout my life i’ve been called that word. multiple different people, including my own parents, and i learned to think it was okay for me to do. i mentioned that i have autism. at the time, i thought this was something that was importance. again, since then i have learned that it was not relevant because they have nothing to do with each other. that is why the post was deleted. i learned that it was WRONG and reevaluated everything, all while working my 6 hour shift last night. now as for the biggest issue at hand here. yes i regret that it was posted, and i ALSO regret that it was said. there were many people who told me (in a respectful way) why it wasn’t okay. when it was all said originally, i did not stop anything because i still had the mindset that i and the person who said it could reclaim this word, and didn’t think there was an issue. i now know that there in fact WAS an issue. this has nothing to do with my reputation, i do not care if people like or dislike me, my goal here was never to be tumblrs most liked or anything of that matter, but to write things that people enjoy reading and i enjoy writing. within the last 24 hours, so much of my mindset has been changed. i left that group chat on every platform. instagram imessage and tiktok. i am no longer in contact with any of them. from here on out i am reflecting on my actions, and on myself as a person. i became a version of myself that i absolute hate. during my shift last night, my coworker asked multiple times if i was okay because i looked hurt. i was hurt. not by the things that some people online are saying, but by the way i acted as a person. i am more sorry than words could ever explain. my intention was never to harm anybody, but obviously i did. if you do not want to, you don’t have to accept this apology. that said this whole thing has portrayed a version of me who is not what i am at my core. because the people i surround myself with are a reflection of me, i am only surrounding myself with people who want nothing but the best for me. i am working to find myself again, the version of me that i was when i first joined tumblr, and not this contorted version of myself that i have become. i am sincerely sorry again.
