no im still thinking about canon fuckboy coriolanus snow. imagine being a capitol citizen and seeing the presidential candidates and one of them is that guy from your high school that was known for drunkenly hooking up with some girl behind the train station

His mother actually explicitly does not have the same blue eyes Coriolanus has! I always pictured her with brown eyes. Please use this information to continue fueling the mommy issues headcanons
Here's another controversial tbosas opinion: usually people default to Snow's mom being another blonde haired blue eyes beauty, which could be true in canon, but I like to make things a little more fucked up
In tbosas we consistently see Snow applying a motherly role to Lucy Gray. His mommy issues are made OBVIOUS right from the start. That's why I personally like to picture his mother at least having brown hair. Maybe Lucy Gray reminds him of her, even if he doesn't realize it.

Normally I like to throw a little tea in the harbor (lake) on the 4th of July but I lowkey think I might just casually reap my friends and family this year

also I love that suzanne wrote katniss and haymitch in first person pov but with coryo she was like “third person for you… you get some distance, creep.”

coryo doesn’t and can’t love normally because his expression of it is control and possession. true love requires you to release that need for control and possession and he can’t do that because loss of control and ownership undoes him. and it’s why he could never love lucy gray and sejanus without the need to control and own them because it made him feel weak whereas that power made him feel strong. and while i believe lucy and sejanus were his first true loves that were tangible and real, power was and always will be his first and only love and desire. and his only expression of love within that were only ever going to be control and possession. he could have never loved them right and since he couldn’t control them, it’s why he killed sejanus and chooses to believe lucy gray is dead as well (she totally isn’t imo) because that, he can control. however, ghosts cannot be and it’s why they haunted and followed him for the rest of his life, right down to his execution. and i bet my last dollar, he only saw their faces in that crowd as they descended upon him!

The charm of Everlark is that they’re both capable of being feral but these wild children described here are also the same people who were too shy to talk to each other for years.

Can’t have an opinion about anything on this fucking website lmao
Also it’s incredibly dumb to pick a fight on someone’s post about an honestly tame take and then have the audacity to tell them to shut up and take it and block them if they don’t like it. Like girl no YOU shut up this is my post!
#I also don’t know if they know woobification actually means lmfao#because their whole little rant about “they were affected by the war!#like yeah dude I know I have reading comprehension skills#this isn’t about whether there are reasons for their behaviors#it’s about how I personally don’t vibe with how a certain subset of the fandom treats them#anyway!!!

Ughhhhhh Peeta GOT IT and saw through EVERYTHING. The first step to breaking tyranny is understanding exactly how they control you, and Peeta did it so naturally.
He didn’t want the games to “change him.” He recognized that Snow relies upon turning humanity’s “most innocent” into murders to prove that humans are all terrible (what Dr. Gaul argues about people being inherently vicious), and absolutely OBLITERATES this idea.
Peeta’s character says “humans cannot be inherently, unquestionably evil because I am good” and it drives me absolutely FERAL.
Sure, not everyone everywhere can afford to keep their hands clean, and even Peeta knows he might have to kill people. But the whole point of killing Coin at the end is that evil beating evil isn’t worth anything. If all you do is get a new tyrant, then you’ve changed nothing. In order to really win, GOOD has to replace evil. In order to have good, you have to have good people, and Peeta is good. Peeta is important to keeping Katniss not only physically on the rebel’s side, but also morally on their side as she battles everything inside of her.

i think we forget way too often that finnick is literally 8 years older than everlark. almost a full decade. can you imagine from his perspective because he's literally a tired adult that has to deal with two teenagers that are obsessed with each other. do you know how annoying teenagers are especially teenage couples?? like literally rip catching fire finnick he was so brave for dealing with everlark and their NONSENSE

online fandom is so fun because we’ll be talking about very serious character moments and analyzing them and stuff and there will be a lull in the discussion and someone will be like “and then they fuck about it” and then we’re all like yeah and then they fuck about it
