I think there’s something to be said about Dusknoir’s battle theme having a trumpet as the main musical instrument that can be heard. And how majority of the tracks in the paralyzed future have trumpets in their themes aswell. So it feels like his presence is plaguing Hero and Partner every second they’re running from him.

On the other hand. It’s a trumpet of all things.
