I hate the “open floor plan” that everyone is obsessed with in houses now. I want nooks and crannies and bizarre floor plans. I don’t need to be able to see what someone is doing on the other side of the house. I want places to hide and lurk and dwell in the shadows. I am the beast who awaits in the labyrinth

this was my 2000th post i am ashamed

anyone else just have like. every 5 years or so you remember you are a real human being and the things that you do do matter. and im not just some fictional character in somenes head. and i feel physically sick from the amount that it distresses me. but the part that makes me feel even worse is the idea, the fact that i did not feel in contact with reality in the first place. i think i may have really bad derealisation issues

a factor of my hlvrai AU that i want to be known but probably wont be is the difference between animal and human brains. i need to be in the body of a hungry siphonphore for a few weeks so i know how to write this correctly. i think if i ever made a fanfic it would be a series consisting of two different fics, each one the the same story but one from the players perspective and the other from the organisms/ the facilities. i want to explore how different the story will sound when you are a creature with multiple bodies that has no knowledge of rules or politeness, and yet you partially inhabit the bodies of human shaped AI creatures of debatable awareness. how does the hunger factor into your interactions, and thus the players immersion with the game? does your hunger act as a kind of way of enticing the player into your mouth? do the weird reality breaking aspects of the AI interest you? is this the intention of the creature? i geniuenly cannot stop thinking about my stupid fucking au god help me

I'm working on a sequel album to The Flowers of Robert Mapplethorpe, it'll be a while, it's my current "big project" and I still need to write a lot. Flowers ended in the middle of the story, it has developed further in the years since and I think I might finally be nearing the end of it. Style is a complete 180, I'm going for dark pastoral glitch pop. It's called Little Secret.
