being asexual on tumblr during 2016-18 used to be so wild bc someone would make a random post like “ace people prefer reading books and cakes over having sex haha” and 15 tumblr blogs with urls like “meanexclusie” and “bitchboycourse” and “cisshettiephobie” would flock underneath a post and start writing essays about how op is homophobic bc they implied that people who arent asexuals do nothing but have sex everyday and are too dumb to read books when op literally never implied any of that and was just making a random joke post
