i'm never drawing a truck again but hey look i finished a drawing again finally lol back on my modern au nonsense

y'know how sometimes u get off work and u need to just. stare into space for a while and let all ur bones decompress like the floorboards of a house. i'm channelling that for this.

is she disproportional to the truck? yes. i like how i told myself "okay shes big shes gotta drive a Big Vehicle like a truck." and then proceeded to base her truck off of old fords, the famously small truck. oops.

got a new tablet yay yippee heres a celebratory Wyll bc i got way into flower language while trying to claw my way out of artblock. flower names and meanings under the cut!

magnolia - nobility (the white ones above head and by chest) veronica/speedwell - (allegedly) devotion (long purple guys on the sides) black-eyed susan - justice (yellow by ear) viscaria - "will you dance with me?" (light purple below chin) sweet william/dianthus - gallantry (dark pink between the viscaria and magnolia) honeysuckle - devoted and generous affection, bonds of love (lil pink and yellowy guys)

i was looking for some that represent oaths but all i found was a million year old very misleading fanwiki for something so. i gave up on that and just stuck to devotion stuff. i used to work in a flower shop which was very fun but if you learn anything from me let it be that you CANNOT assume someone has credible knowledge of flower language just bc they work at a florist. i didn't learn shit from there.

the tablet i've been using since 2020 is starting to die and has reached an unusable state so here's some unposted art and wips in her honour lol. rip to my cintiq, allegedly five years is pretty good for those.

this is mostly my tavs! i'll probably post the Wyll one on it's own at some point (like. thirty seconds after this one ahaha) and the last one is just personal art because i'm a sucker for the style of illustrations in kids novels, very loosely inspired by narnia.
