the grand narukami shrine was absolutely beautiful!! how could she not fall in love with it? the numerous amount of sakura trees, the smell of cherry blossoms, the view? well now, it seems as though she has found her favorite place in inazuma. the shrine maidens were also rather kind, answering any question she had regarding the place but something caught her attention. the tree that formed the shape of a fox. it was even... glowing. how strangely unnerving and yet still beautiful all the same. it fit with the aesthetic... and the amount of foxes she had seen on the way up.

wangshu inn was a nice resting place whenever she needed to traverse between mondstadt and liyue. the view was beautiful from up here but she had to wonder, whose idea was it to build a  structure coiling around a giant tree like this? or could it be, that someone built the building first with a sapling in the center and waited for it to grow into this magnificent tree? so many questions she wanted to ask, but she knew that even if she were to ask it’s current owner, they wouldn’t know. after all, history would always be lost to time and judging by the tree itself, it’s rather old.

“still, it would be nice to know more about the tree itself.”

this was inazuma. it was... different from mondstadt and liyue, she had to admit. the atmosphere, the fauna... the building style. if she had to compare, with mondstadt following a more european culture and liyue clearly following chinese, inazuma embraced japan, old japan if she had to be specific. were the nations in this world inspired by countries in her own? just why were there some similarities between this world and her own? she had yet to properly ask that but... who was she to ask? how would she explain to people that she was from a different world, that the ‘vision’ she wore on her mantle was fake and masking her herrscher abilities?

how would she explain a herrscher without making it sound like a god?

the valkyrie-turned-mercenary sighed, leaning against her weapon with a grumble. now wasn’t the time for that, she had a new nation to explore! she would have explored earlier but the process in order to obtain a pass was tedious.

there he was, chen tianwu. with his back towards her. he clearly didn’t noticed that she was there, that was good! she was going to surprise him. get back at him for doing the same to her, for pinching her nose. this was justified payback in her books. she deserved this, he definitely deserved this! schariac carefully lightened her steps, slowing her breathing and relaxed. too tense and her steps would be shaky and that wouldn’t do any good. careful... careful... once she was within range, ana jumped, hands landing on his shoulders with a cry. “boo!”
