If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you will enjoy this show. It’s got content that’s normally a hard pass for me (namely the endangerment of children and child/doll-themed horror), BUT Neil Gaiman’s shows always get a pass, because of the sheer humanity with which he depicts humanity. Things that would leave me anxious and rattled in anyone else hands, leave me instead feeling seen, connected, and a tiny bit healed when Neil writes them.

This is perhaps a Hot Take, but if Neil had written Thessaly to be more like Esther perhaps she wouldn't irritate me as much. Oh but I raise you: there was a year long time skip inbetween S7 & 8. Wouldn’t that put us in 2013 for the ladder half of the season? I haven’t done the exact math- but House was in there for about… 8 months? Then another couple weeks or so before Foreman got him on parole? I’m pretty sure that places us around mid 2013 by the time the finale would’ve occurred. Another five months on top of that… Same-sex marriage was legalized in NJ October 21, 2013. I think they would’ve just have made it. I’m a believer. I don’t think they would’ve done it but I think they could have celebration sex for the occasion.
