Sitting under a tree rests a familiar bard. You can hear him softly humming a tune while he strums his fingers along the strings of his lyre. The notes soon fade away when Venti notices you. With a smile, he welcomes you back.

"Stardust! You have come home!”

You chuckle, looking at him with a confused expression, your home isn’t this tree! You gently correct him.

“Well anywhere can be considered as our home so long as both of us are beside each other, no?“

You pause. He executed that so smoothly, darn arcon... You’ll give him points for that.

“How’s my cute boyfriend doing in Mondstadt, well I hope?“

Your face was steaming at this point. To try and get back at him somehow, you deny his claim about you being cute.

His face suddenly flashes a devious expression you’re all too familiar with, giving you a bad feeling. Grinning from ear to ear, Venti crosses his arms, nodding in agreement "Hmm hmm, right, you're not cute, you're adorable."

You sputter, your heart beating even faster than before as if you’ve ran a marathon. That’s not what you meant!! Darn bard..

With a huff, you puff out your cheeks, lightly hitting him on the shoulder. You felt annoyed, but bashful from his remarks. Venti simply laughs in response, raising his hands in surrender. 

“Hehe, alright, alright. But- I still stand by my word! Come, sit next to me“

He pats the space beside him and you glare at him in suspicion, cautious. However, you’ll show him some mercy from your impending wrath, for now.

The moment you settle down next to him, the wind archon rests his head on your shoulder, taking your hand and intertwines his fingers with yours.

His warmth is certainly inviting, making you drowsy. Ultimately, you both enjoy the peaceful moment together.

After some time, the sun goes down and Venti decides to sit on your lap. You were confused, but before you could ask what he’s trying to do, the bard gently cups your face in his hands and leaves a warm kiss on your lips. Your heart flutters, overwhelmed by his unconditional love for you.

“I love you,“

 His eyes sparkle in admiration while he looks at you, basking in your beauty.

"My most precious windblume of all."

He swiftly wraps his arms around you, pulling you in for a hug. One of his hands rests on the back of your head, the other above your hip. What you didn’t expect was for him to bring your head close to his exposed chest, making you stutter in confusion.

You can feel your face heat up the longer your cheek presses against it.

You almost didn’t hear him ask about going out and have dinner together from how distracted you were, making you struggle to give out a reply.

“U-uhm--ah-no? Wait--yes! Yes!“

You scream internally, wanting to slap yourself from sweating profusely and stumbling over your words like a fool. Curse you Kaeya for being so attractive and flaunting it! Though, you’re not really opposed to it...

“It’s a date then my dear, see you in Good Hunter at 8.“

Before you could ask Kaeya to confirm what he said, he’s already gone.

Thinking of adjusting my writing style a bit, specifically for dialogue from the reader.. ( 〃．．) do you prefer the way that I write it now or do I write it in a way that you can interpret it yourself using your imagination for more freedom (・・？)

Something like this:

You gesture for him to sit down. Once seated, you take a moment to collect your thoughts before explaining your side of the story, about how you got to escape, that you were one of the lucky few who made it out alive and lastly.. how all your emotions came crashing down before he found you.

Something more emotion driven like that? (｡´-ω･)ン? I just want it to be more flexible in case there are people who don't speak in the same manner ＼(  *´▽｀)( ´▽｀* )/, as well as make it more enjoyable to read since you can really insert yourself in the story ヾ(´^ω^)ノ♪

Unless of course, if I get an ask that gives me a specific dialogue or prompt to follow, then I'll do my best to write it! ᕙ( * •̀ ᗜ •́ * )ᕗ

You wanted to make something nice for Chongyun, a surprise dish even! But, you didn’t expect his soul to practically leave his body when you fed him something spicy...

It’s been two days since the incident, whenever you and Chongyun caught sight of each other you’d both glare at each other and stomp off with a huff.

So when Chongyun calmly called out to you with a regretful look on his face one day, it got you stumbling over in surprise, was he not mad anymore? Still, you won’t bring your guard down. Crossing your arms, you nod, signaling him to continue what he has to say.

Chongyun shuffles in place, taking a moment to collect his thoughts, wanting to be careful with the words he’s about to say next.

“I... apologize for lashing out at you the other day. You weren’t aware of my constitution so, it’s not your fault. I’m also sorry for the way I treated you recently..“

You’re unsure of how to respond. For one thing, you still felt hurt by how he treated you before, but you hesitate since you can tell how sincere he is from his heartfelt apology, along with the sorrowful look on his face. Moreover, you didn’t want to be angry at him forever, considering you were at fault as well in some way.

Rubbing the back of your neck, you look down at the ground, unsure of what to say next. Taking a deep breath, you look back up at him.

“I’m sorry too, I should’ve just told you what was in the food instead of being stubborn... can we just hug this out?“ You say, your lips curling up in an awkward smile.

Chongyun chuckles, shaking his head. Then, with open arms he welcomes you and you embrace him tight without a second thought. His embrace felt cool, his clothes faintly smell like mint, making you catch those fuzzy feelings again. Grinning from ear to ear, it warms your heart to know you’re both on good terms again.

Suddenly, you struggle to keep your balance from holding Chongyun up with him heavily leaning on you unexpectedly, cause he.. went limp...?

“U-uh, Chongyun?“

You try and call his name and- realization dawns upon you all of a sudden. Oh jeez, it looks like you both forgot that physical contact is another thing that increases one’s temperature, the sole reason for him blacking out AGAIN. Sigh.

You should probably be more mindful of your actions the next time...

You're Kaeya's drinking buddy! However, tonight doesn't feel right...

Today's another one of those days where you don't feel like doing anything. It’s not that you don’t want to, you just.. want to have a little rest, to put things lightly.

As you curl up and hug your comforter to yourself, you suddenly remember that you’re supposed to be out drinking with Kaeya today. Conflicted, you didn’t want to have him wait for nothing, but you didn’t want to get up either.

After a long debate with you and your thoughts, you’ve finally come to a conclusion that you will get your ass up, that you can be better than the state you're in right now.

Or at least, that's what you thought until you step foot in Angel's Share.

It should just be the usual same routine for you, but it feels like it's not.

Kaeya takes notice of your presence and greets you like an old friend however, you're frozen in place.

It's only after he looks at you with concern do you move to sit next to him.

"Something on your mind Starlight?"

You hate how perceptive Kaeya is and that it makes you want to cry from how vulnerable you felt. You didn't want to seem weak, but he's always been able to look right through you.

Your hands fiddle together from nervousness and you decide to open your heart by just a bit.

"I just- the pain doesn’t seem to ever go away, I feel so helpless."

"I'm way past my breaking point and... I don't know what to do anymore. "

Even though you said so little, your feelings overwhelm you and all you could do is cry uncontrollably. You try to wipe away your tears, but more keeps pouring down.

So instead, you hide your face in your hands in shame while you try to sob as quietly as possible.

For a moment, nothing happened.

You felt like a fool for ever coming here. You should've just stayed at home and-

There's a sudden weight on your shoulders. It felt light and soft, something fuzzy brushes against your cheek, but before you could look to check what it was Kaeya brings you to his chest, holding you close.

"Let’s bring you home first, we’ll talk there."

You were confused, but you don't make a fuss and follow as instructed.

The walk to your house was quiet, Kaeya's arm remains wrapped around you for the whole time.

Once you make it to your room, you both sit next to each other on your bed.

"Now, what's been bugging you Starlight?"

You have a lot of things to say and in all honesty? You're not in the mood to let it out, not today at least.

So you were anxious to ask if you could talk about it some other time. You cast your gaze onto the floor, unable to look at him in the eye. With a meek voice, you say "Can.. can we talk about it later? Tomorrow maybe?"

You brace yourself for the worst, like he'd push you to talk even when you didn't want to, get angry when you refuse to budge-

but it never comes.

Instead, your chest tightens when Kaeya pats your head and gives you a half hug.

"Of course, whenever you're ready."

His words fill you with immense relief and you couldn't ask for anything better.

He turns out the lights and lays on the bed, patting the space beside him. You lay your head on his chest as you're slowly lulled to sleep by the sound of his beating heart.

Flustered Kisses (Diluc, Venti, Sucrose) | HCs

Since the Kaeya prompt is taking a while (mostly because schoolwork is taking most of my time (*´；ェ；`*)), I decided to make some HCs on where Diluc, Venti, and Sucrose are more likely to kiss you for affection plus their reactions when you kiss them back!ヾ(＠^∇^＠)ノ

Diluc

✧ He likes to kiss your hand as a greeting whenever you two meet up, but he only does it if there aren’t a lot of people around. PDA isn’t really his thing, but he makes up for it with some head kisses behind closed doors.

✧ If you suddenly kiss him near the lips his face would slowly heat up and have a light red flush. He’d try to not make it obvious by hiding it with his hand or direct your attention somewhere else.

Venti

✧ He’d kiss you anywhere he can reach at any given time, regardless on where you’re both at. On a stroll together? He gives a kiss on your shoulder and acts like he didn’t do anything. He likes to give as many as possible everyday to remind you how much he loves and cares about you.

✧ If you surprise him with a kiss on the cheek, he’d jolt in surprise then grin from ear to ear, hold you close and give many kisses in return.

Sucrose

✧ Although she doesn’t do it often, she prefers to give you a quick kiss on the lips whenever she gets the courage to do so. On rare occasions, she’d accompany it with a soft “I love you”. As a result, her whole face would be beet red, shyly averting her gaze if you stared at her for too long.

✧ She’s easily flustered with any kind of affection, especially kisses so she fumbles over her words, trying to make her brain comprehend what you just did (she loves it don’t worry).

The gentle fragrance of flowers from the Floral Whisper shop tempts you in getting bundle to decorate your home to spiffy up your room and smell nice a little, but you resist! You're here only for the things that you need, you can indulge yourself another time.

Upon facing front of Good Hunter, you scrutinize the selection of meat before you, trying to figure out which is best. The waitress, Sara, patiently waits for you until you finally decide to pick the sirloin steak, having it wrapped and packed in your little bag. Good, all you need left are the string beans for your Stir-Fried Filet.

Making your way towards the last stall for today, you ponder, murmuring computations for next week's budget. Maybe if you cut down your snacks, you'd be able to squeeze in the bouquet you wanted earlier...

You lose your trail of thought upon hearing the gentle sounds of a lyre, accompanied with a voice that was soft and sweet, creating a harmonic melody.

It was then you noticed a small gathering of people ranging from all ages surrounding a rather cute bard.

"The little one cried, "How I wish I could fly!" Then he tossed him high in the sky, how sly..."

You listen in earnest, each note making your stomach flutter. You try to calm your beating heart, but it stutters the moment his eyes meets your gaze, your face heating up from the playful wink he gave.

It was only for a brief moment, but you knew you were starstruck.

It all ends too soon and you watch him turn to make his leave, yet you yearned to hear another song.
