I'm not sure why people have been bashing this hair dryer, but when I read the negative reviews it almost seemed like they hadn't actually tried using it? This is a great hair dryer, that's different then what you're used to so you'll need a week to adjust. Make sure you watch the styling videos because this is a stronger machine than you're used to with a different balance. +It is measurably stronger than other hairdryers on the market. +It self monitors the temperature at the exit point so that your hair wont be damaged from holding it to close. +It's much easier to hold given how it's weighted in the handle (the force you feel is weight multiplied by perpendicular distance, which has been dramatically reduced. +It's MUCH faster at drying hair. That said you can't just top it on it's fastest hottest setting. After you do the bulk of your drying at the top speed turn it down and finish it off. +The attachments go on magnetically, which is very easy and again very fast. +The attachments (per the support videos) make it much easier to finish blow drying your hair and not needing to style it. + Because of it's unique design of air intake, it forgoes the traditional L design for a I design and fits into narrow drawers. +++ My wife has had "Nothing but good hair days since we switched and I got used to it" +++++++ My wife gets ready in much less time than she used to. It's "30-50% faster" saving about 5 minutes a day. ++++++++++++ My wife doesn't wake me up in the master bathroom because this hair dryer is so QUIET. The other one sounded like a dying helicopter. You can have conversations while it's running, it's just not as convenient as when it's not running. I read a lot of cons that I disagree with on another post so I'm going to say why they aren't that bad. -The cord is too thick --I don't know why you'd think it would be unless you were holding it wrong which it seems like a lot of people the post negative reviews are. I've never had a problem with it and my wife never thought about it. -The air intake is at the bottom and I keep grabbing it. -- This is done on purpose for how it's weighted, most comfortable, and easiest to maneuver. If you're making this mistake adjust it when you feel the air blowing on your hand, it's quite easy to notice and fix You'll get used to it in a week. -Your hair comes out dry like straw --It shouldn't** My wife has very baby fine hair and it comes out nicer with this hair dryer. That said, this is a very powerful hairdryer and using it on the highest setting until your hair is dry will dry your hair out more than weaker hair dryers on their respective highest setting. Watch the videos their quite helpful, or just turn the setting down after the bulk of the drying is done. -It's weighty and uncomfortable --Per the above comments you're not holding it at the handle. The product went through multiple engineering phases you can watch a video on to minimize the strain on your arms and it's very easy and comfortable to use especially compared to other hair dryers where all the weight is above the handle so you have to fight it as you maneuver it. -No way to hang it on a hook -- If you're set on doing so then this is a con. You can pop a plug under your sink and keep it in a drawer always plugged in and out of sight which seems to be more desirable for me. -No way to put it in a drawer -- This is just not true, I have a 6.5 in drawer that doesn't fit traditional hair dryers because it's too small, but it fits this one and a few brushes easily. Most hair dryers are in the shape of a capital L, this is in the shape of an I so it just fits better. The wire isn't a problem, we have a drawer that is only 6.5 in wide and this is the only hair dryer that fits in this drawer. -It's too expensive -- For the benefits of size, speed, noise, quality of hair, ease of use, it's worth it for us though this is a personal decision and no matter how nice a hair dryer is there are much cheaper options out there.

I read many reviews on Amazon and on others sites regarding this flat iron before my purchase. The Sultra 5000 Seductress arrived last week, and I must say that I am a HUGE fan! IN LOVE! I have had other 1 inch flat iron's, and with the thickness of my hair, have never been able to get it perfect and straight! With this iron, I am able to do so with ease. Also, unlike other irons I have tried, this iron DOES NOT PULL OUT MY HAIR! I have naturally wavy hair, and usually will add curls or boost the wave. Rather than washing my hair constantly and drying it out, I usually try to straighten it. After placing into sections and using the Seductress (which heats up amazingly fast) I had the softest, straightest hair ever. This iron is amazing. My 12 year old also has waist length straight hair, and with a little You Tube video tutorial, I was able to give her hair some curl, which she LOVED. I would absolutely refer all of my family and friends who are looking to purchase a new flat iron, to purchase the Sultra 5000 Sedctress Curl, Wave, and Flat iron.

When first using the straightener it had a smell like plastic melting. After using it for awhile, the smell has gone away. But I’m disappointed with the item and don’t think it was worth the cost. It has a cheap plastic feel and does not feel as solidly built as my Sedu straightener. And worst of all, when I straighten my hair and try to curve the straightener outward to give some shape and volume to my hair, it snags and scrapes my hair. I can hear it scraping against my hair, and this does not happen with the sedu. I think it has to do with the way the edges are fashioned. Instead of one smooth piece, it has plastic pieces put together which catch hair. If you just pull straight down, this minimizes the scraping/snagging, but then you will end up with a very flat hairstyle. If that’s what you want, great, but for this price I expected it to be more versatile and better built.

BIO IONIC 10x Ultralight Speed Dryer, Black

This new dryer is amazing. It is extremely light (less than a pound) and actually much lighter than my old bio ionic powerlight. The nozzle is very easy to take on and off and it's great because the dryer itself does not overheat. My hair normally takes 15-25 minutes with a typical dryer. I have very long, thick, curly and easily frizzy hair. The 10x takes me between 9-12 minutes but the result is much better with the 10x than my old powerlight. This dryer makes my hair feel exceptionally soft, light, defrizzer, and smooth, without the need for a flat iron--definitely the best blow out I've had in a long time! The cold button is great and I think the variety of settings is more than enough for me. The bio ionic powerlight would take me between 10-14 minutes depending on the humidity outside and how conditioned my hair is, so in terms of time, I found the 10x to definitely be faster overall with a better overall result. My stylist recommended the bio ionic brand in 2012. I bought the bio ionic powerlight 4 years ago and it does a great job at reducing styling time and smoothing out my hair. However, I find the new 10x to be more effective at not drying out my hair as much. The 10x definitely gives more shine and reduces frizz substantially. The dryer still works great but I wanted to try a new dryer. I will keep the powerlight as a travel/back up dryer. By the way, I have burned out three T3 dryers in less than a year so having a ten year motor warranty is a big deal for me. Bio ionic is hands down one of the best brands on the market for blow dryers and I find it to be well worth the money!

This is my third T3 dryer, after reading over a decade ago that they were the “Rolls Royce” of hairdryers via some beauty magazine list. My original worked for a bit more than 10 years before biting the dust, which seems like a good long life that helps justify the expense here, and my T3 Featherweight that replaced it is still going strong, after about two years, but I admit I was excited to be able to try out the new model. This is about the same weight, but slightly less bulky, than the Featherweight, with a different form factor, though the “micro” designation is misleading, as this is definitely a full-size hair dryer. It also has quite a few additional bells and whistles, the three heat settings are easy to set with a push of the button vs a rocker switch, there's also, a cold shot you don’t have to hold down to use, which is on the opposite side of the other controls to prevent accidental activation and two concentrators of various widths (they say one is for styling, one for drying). Additional heat settings (3 to 5), the volume boost button and an auto-pause feature that is really kind of cool, are the only difference between this regular and the “luxe” Cura models, so it’s up to you if those are worth an additional $50. At this already crazy high price point for a dryer, I’d tend to argue, ‘maybe,’ because I like the auto-pause in particular, but your mileage may vary there. It's at least worth considering before you buy: T3 Micro Cura Luxe Hair Dryer. I will say if you’re looking for a T3 now, I’d go for either of the Cura models vs the older Featherweight, as it feels better in hand and the rocker switches on the Featherweight's handle are a little to easy to accidentally push when drying. All the T3 models do a great job blowdrying in a short amount of time (caveat: I have fine hair) with out leaving my hair frizzy, flyaway or in need of a post-blowdry smoothing with the hot iron. That’s why I’ve stayed loyal to the brand.

I used it the day I receive it, it was a lot better than what I expected!!! I was a little doubted on this little hair dryer could make any difference over my old one(which take forever to dry up my hair with small power, but is a bigger than this one), but this product has proved me wrong. For years I have owned a small ionic conair blow dryer that I happen to pick up . By chance it has lasted me for over five years Despite this I decided I wanted to try something new. Let me tell you, this little dryer genuinely impressed me. I was sceptical because i had never heard of the brand but the dryer works great. I was also surprised that it carries bit of weight and It truly feels proffesional. The dryer itself has three buttons amd each control temp speed and cold boost The infrared is a super cool feature. I feel like it helped my hair dry faster and softer I also want to note that I didnt used any round brush when blow drying my hair and the dryer itself helped my hair dry straighter. I cp hi ldnt believe it myself. Generally when I dry my hair unless I use serum and a brush, I get a big frizzy mess. This dryer gave me a pretty polished look in half the time. I truly recommend. You will really enjoy this dryer. One small note, as with any dryer be site to move in even sweeping motions because too much concentration can get too hot. No coms for dryer otherwise!
