Heyyyyy y'all. My semesters almost over, as in finals are next week 💀. I'm working on compiling reference sheets for my next gen characters. I've also been trying out that website character hub to get them all organized (since I'm usually horrible about putting everything in writing).

*slight warning on mention of dubious consent*

Silver Venture is the illegitimate son of Shining Armor and Queen Chrysalis. He was conceived sometime during the events of a Canterlot wedding and born afterwards. He was born and lived in the changeling hive until he was around 7. It was when another kind-hearted changeling, named Thorax, left with him and snuck him into the Crystal Empire together (in disguised forms). Thorax knew Queen Chrysalis only kept him around because she was able to feed on his love for her. He raised Silver Venture the best he could, trying to remain undetected by the residents of the Crystal Empire. Upon Thorax befriending Spike and consequently Twilight Sparkle, it was discovered Shining Armor was Silver Venture's father. This discovery changed the lives of the royal couple in the Crystal Empire. Princess Cadence was happy to take him in, despite the dreadful circumstances that brought him into this world. Naturally, Shining Armor has had a harder time accepting the truth of it all, especially all the trauma surrounding his existence. Silver Venture was 11 years old when he moved into the castle and felt anything but comfortable. He knows the intense stigma against changelings, and to make it worse, his mother is a devious villain who had already attempted to overthrow his father and stepmother. He is deeply ashamed to be a changeling and spends almost all his time in his disguised form. He is never undisguised outside of his room. Hopefully in time he will be able to make peace with who he is and experience the magic of friendship. (He is pictured as an adult in the reference, but his appearance generally stays the same throughout his life, he's a simple guy lol)

Momentary return with human rarity. I've been tryna get back into the swing of drawing and coloring people. I think it turned out alright overall, just need some more practice. I may do the rest of the mane 6 just to get more practice. Only 22 more days until the end of the semester then I am free to do my hobbies. I'm not sure if I'll post again before finals, but for everyone in college and high school, good luck with finals!!! We will conquer this semester trust 💪
