Hello everyone,

I am sure that people have been waiting for an update, and this is one that has been desperately needed. We apologize for the belatedness- hopefully this explanation answers some questions.

To be frank, this project has been difficult. Back in November, our original mod quit with quite a fanfare and tried to cancel the project completely. As fans, we all desperately wanted this project to happen- we love Inazuma Eleven, and we love the community we have built over the years. Several artists and writers stepped forward to help and take over the project with the hope of bringing it from the ashes and turning it into something amazing.

This is when we hit our first snag. After looking at the money we had gotten based on cost of production, we realized that it would most likely be impossible. The previous mod had not taken into account cost of production, or cost of shipping. The price of a book, stickers, postcards, and charms was way under what it should have been..

On top of this, the book was too big. It currently clocks in at over 80 pages, which is an incredibly thick book, and incredibly pricey to print. More people were brought onto the project as artists and writers than people who ordered, and though all are fantastic creators, it should have been much smaller than it was. To put it into perspective, we have over 40 creators in the book. Less than 30 people have ordered it.

Over the past few months, we (who have never managed zines) have tried our best to figure out a way to put this book out. We have emailed printing places for deals, saved coupons, and messaged people with small printing presses of their own to try and get help, but nothing has been able to help. A wonderful friend who has worked on zines before, but is not part of this fandom, has bent over backwards to try and help this project work.

The months have passed, and as we all got busier and busier with our own personal projects, we have also not been able to find a way to get this out. The old mod also did not seem to take into account charges through Paypal and Big Cartel, and we found that we were missing a large amount of money when the money was sent to us. We have also lost access to the twitter, and so we apologize to anyone who has tried to contact us through this.

So, as a TL;DR: we are cancelling this project. Everyone who ordered will get a full refund over the next week, and also a PDF copy emailed to them. Refunds should all be issued by the end of April, and hopefully sooner rather than later. Due to missing funds, mods are currently working to raise enough money to make sure everyone is repayed fully, which is the reason for the delay. We deeply apologize. We wanted this project to work so desperately, and tried as hard as we could to find out ways to do so. We should have updated people quicker, but didn’t want to panic anyone as we pushed to fix what was wrong, but to be completely honest, it was doomed from the start.

Of course, you will ne notificed about a refunt when it’s decided. We are also trying to find a way to save this zine (because we currently have issues with the money >:/ + keychain and stickers). One of the admin will write something about it when they’ll have the time to.

Hey there! Yes, it still is very much going and we're on our way to print the copies and then ship them. We're currently facing some problems however, as the website we were gonna use to order the copies is shutting down and does no longer accept orders, so one of our mods is looking into alternatives.

We'll try to let everyone know the date where they'll be shipped as soon as we solve this backdraw, thanks for the understanding!

Why not turn it into a digital version only zine. Since I guess that there weren’t enough funds to print the zine And with enough funds you could still make the extras and send them out
