Unfolding Her Stories.

Ellena Soedira Hasta, an only daughter who was born in a beautiful small town in Germany called Braunschweig on September 12, 1998. She spent her childhood up to elementary school (Grundschule), exactly at the age of 10, in Germany before finally moving to Indonesia and deciding to become an Indonesian citizen.

His father is a native German who works as a Professor teaching at the Faculty of Philosophy at an University located in Berlin, while his mother is a native Indonesian who works as a lawyer in a law firm in Jakarta. Due to the demands of her mother's job which at that time made her have to return to Indonesia, so Ellena inevitably had to leave her small town to come to Indonesia and continue her life growth there. Her own father decided to settle in Germany, so often if she and her mother had free time or were on vacation would go visit her father.

It was not easy for Ellena at the time to adapt to her new life in Indonesia. Granted, from a young age she had been accustomed to speaking Indonesian with her mother and her father who could speak a little Indonesian, but the environment was still very foreign to Ellena. After having dual citizenship for 18 years, she finally had to decide on her citizenship status. “Papa, wenn ich mich am Ende entscheide, Mama zu folgen und Indonesischer Staatsbürger zu werden, bist du dann enttäuscht und traurig? (Papa, if in the end I decide to follow Mama to become an Indonesian citizen, will you be disappointed and sad?”, Ellena said to her father when he visited during the holidays. Her father smiled gently as he hugged her and said, “Natürlich nicht, Lena, es ist dein Recht und du wirst immer noch Papas Kind sein (Of course not, Lena, it's your right and you will still be Papa's child)”.

After completing her high school years, she decided to continue her education in Indonesia and she chose to continue her education by specializing in law at a university. During her studies, Ellena participated actively in various collegiate activities throughout her college life. She has an interest in social issues and philosophical discussions (probably because she was used to with her father's influence).

Eventually, Ellena achieved success in 2020, receiving her Bachelor of Law degree with excellent performance. After graduating, she decided to work as a Paralegal for 2 (two) years and finally become a Legal Associate until present day.

Ellena has an outgoing, cheerful, and friendly personality towards people around her. Besides that, Ellena also has quite expressive personality, she likes to express what she feels and what is independent to the core, wants to shake off other people's expectations and pursue her own ideas. Ellena is also quite expressive, openly sharing her thoughts and feelings. She's a fascinating blend of creativity and decisiveness, calm yet loud, ambition and privacy, curiosity and focus. While these traits may seem contradictory at first glance, they're actually quite harmonious within her unique personality.
