i talked about this briefly with my boyfriend the other day but for most of my life i would try and hide the fact that my family is irish from people because i was embarrassed by that. i didnt want to engage with anything that was shared with me either. i want to know what around me made me feel that way. why did that happen

i majored in environmental science for a semester before switching to sociology and right now i study criminal justice and i love it but i cannot see myself working in either of these fields. i just do not think i am built for the kind of interaction the jobs ive been applying to require because of my disabilities. so im thinking of going back to undergrad and completing the program i started. i will definitely be doing a study abroad if that is what i end up doing. going back to undergrad will hopefully also give me the opportunity to study german more seriously. ive been crying on and off for hours its so stressful
