#good morning #wrt bittersweetness:#this fic has a ''happily ever after'' ending to me but i recognize that it might come across as kind of sad to some people #in the same way that some people found the ending to the peterflash beauty and the beast au kind of sad #it's an ending in which he is loved and safe... but he'll never be the same as he was #there's no magic cure for 12 years of grooming and abuse and while there MAY be a magic cure for his injuries he doesn't get one #but that doesn't meant he can't live a happy and fulfilling life with his family or heal at least some of his emotional wounds #i guess i am just the kind of person who likes endings which indicate growth and recovery

a light evening Storm. I enjoyed putting this together, pulling from my older redesigns.

The hair is a callback to the Dave Cockrum tiara. Since it's so structured, I dialed back the rest of the look somewhat to avoid an over-designed look. To compensate, I added accessories and fabric textures.

I just wanted to say thank you for often including Flash Thompson when you draw the Coffee Bean Gang 🥹 so many fan artists (and published artists doing interiors for spidey comics, for that matter) leave him out and it always makes me sad! He's so important to me so I really appreciate it when he's remembered 💕💕

Flash is integral to the whole squad and the fact that hes often boiled down to a highschool bully character destroys me. He is so integrally connected to Peter history wise, personality wise, and also through their many mutual exes.

They are two sides of the same coin and will throw down in a Denny's parking lot in front of their students.
