don’t mind me i’m just emo about the fact that magnus was gonna let alec walk away?? he was probably expecting alec to think that he’s too much to handle, that they’re too different because this has most likely happened to him before. and he was willing to accept alec’s choice no matter how disappointed he might have been or how much it must have hurt. this is the second time magnus put the decision in alec’s hands and the second time alec surprised him. for the second time alec chose him.
