the doom patrol timeline is so fucked up everything happens in like a week. i was thinking of it as like, two to three months max but it’s so much shorter than that…

the present of the first two episodes happen in the same two day span, puppet patrol happens the very next day because larry was left in the ceiling from when he asked (very politely!) to establish some ground rules, then we don’t technically know much about the gap between that and cult patrol but we do know it’s short and obviously paw patrol happens on the same night/day immediately following, so that’s like… four days max, then doom patrol patrol happens right after that because that’s when jane remembers to look for them and we see rita waiting for elliot right when the episode starts so that episode takes place on another day. presumably therapy patrol happens immediately after that because hammerhead starts vandalizing the painting, so that’s six days. danny patrol is a seventh day, so that’s just over a week at the very maximum, but then jane patrol, hair patrol, and frances patrol all happen on basically the same fucking day because at the start of frances patrol larry is waking up from being passed out during the events of those two episodes right after they end which wasn’t really a full day even though larry and jane both immediately pass out again! so that’s just over a week. and now things really speed up even fucking more because cyborg patrol happens immediately, there’s no way they had vic for over a day, they probably had him just overnight, which means that jane patrol/hair patrol/frances patrol/cyborg patrol happened in two days and flex patrol is a third day and penultimate patrol is a fourth day and nobody has had any time to sleep for any of this since, like, fucking, frances patrol for jane and larry and not at all for anyone else, basically. and the first part of ezekiel patrol happens right after that because it opens on the same scene they left off on!

which means everything from the pilot to the first half of ezekiel patrol before the six month gap happened in…like….approximately twelve days, give or take a few twelve hour bursts.
