also i Really Really Like the direction Ncuti Gatwa's doctor is going, it's really very interesting and unique!! he's a doctor who is So lonely and So angry and So Very Sad Inside but outwardly all bright eyed smiles and i love his gay ass drama queen behavior so much, he's got a very sixth doctor vibe but it's a fresh take on it and i really wish that he had a competent fucking writer

i do think there should be more stories and shows and stuff about guys falling in love with butch women actually, i think that’d be a good thing. and not ‘this is as butch as twitter can handle’, i mean butch as can fucking be without apology, and making those boys weak in the knees about it. i think it’s great actually to have f/m romances that exist to break gender norms, too. i think it sucks that the only mainstream het romances that exist are either about women who are already feminine or with women who are just a little too scarily masculine and have to be fixed into being girlier. that’s shit.

i completely understand & agree with the backlash against students using chatgpt to get degrees but some of you are out here saying "getting a degree in xyz means pulling multiple consecutive all-nighters and writing essays through debilitating migraines and having severe back pain from constantly studying at your desk and chugging energy drinks until you get a kidney stone and waking up wishing you were dead every day, and that's just part of the natural process of learning!!!" and like. umm. i don't think that any of us should have had to endure that either. like maybe the solution for stopping students from using anti-learning software depends on college institutions making the process of learning actually sustainable on the human body & mind rather than a grueling health-destroying soul-crushing endeavor

Consider maneuvering a laundry basket down the stairs. What feelings does this engender in you? Urgency and focus, attention to orientation, a receptivity to the immediate relevance of any new stimuli, maybe. Not catastrophe. Looking down and not seeing your body is totally fine! Close your damn eyes and try it! It’s such a funny meme to me when it crops up in scifi, after playing in VR.
