officially done with the first week of my summer research job! i'm giving a presentation on my project next week, so i spent most of my workday prepping some slides. i also got in 50 minutes of strength training in the morning and made dinner with my housemates after work.

goals for the weekend include fulfilling some house-cleaning responsibilities, a bit of meal prep for the week, and spending a good chunk of time on grad school research, which i've more or less abandoned for the past week.

THURSDAY, 19TH JUNE

spent most of the day prepping for my keyboard exam, and then gave the said exam in the evening. it went well i think? not too shabby. finally got time to practice some java today. i actually love the language for some reason, it's probably because i'm excited to learn something new.

today was a pretty good day. managed to do some stuff from my to-do list, made some scary phonecalls and also had fun convos with ppl on the server, which is always nice.

I also finally understood how i should study for my next exam, mostly just reading the slides and then find info on two different textbooks to understand that mess, definitely not the most time eficient method, but it's the one it's working rn, and i was getting desperate

Had to relocate my little desk setup because 1. I kind of end up using that table to eat 2. Always end up working at the coffee table anyway, and 3. We need that space for the AC once it gets warmer. Now my books are all at the little bedside table. Idk how I feel abt all this lol but we go with the flow~ still looks cute cant complain.

MONDAY, 17TH JUNE

summer holidays are always weird for me. i love having all the free time, but simultaneously hate having no structure in my day. i started an internship, it's been really exciting learning new things, but i'm also a little scared of the corporate world. i've also gotten in a few councils in my college, something i'm very proud of. (i need to now choose which one to go for and that is stressing me tf out)

The last few days have been crazy! I'm really tired. I finally started renovating my outbuilding and I have to clean my house every day. It's been really cold and if I could I would sleep under the covers all day. I can't believe I'll see Baekhyun in 5 days!!!! Seriously, it feels like a dream.
