I want to tell someone about this place. This place still hums in my senses. Humming is the word I landed on today, which today for some reason I felt the humming open up to me and envelop me, adoring me. Like many days I leave the trail to follow this riverbed to flat rock opening up under the sky warm like a hug that I lie in. See I can talk about the pleasures that the contents of this place bring me, but these are not adoring me. A swallowtail bounced through the air in front of me, from left to right, like granting permission. I'm allowed one instant of senselessness, one moment not beyond my perimeter but perimeter-less. The butterfly was gone. I was back in my body, and I cried and said thank you.
