I don’t get the love for Phaedra’s pizza comment. She has excellent delivery but if the option came between choosing a crappy person knowingly or by accident I think the latter is better.
Kenya was smart to ignore her considering her gross comment the previous reunion. Better to not engage and misspeak again.

one thing to investigate later is the intention of having Joan Fontaine’s character talk about her husband wanting her to be a slave after a Black woman delivers a toothbrush to her on the train. Was it to put her in perspective (I doubt it, at the same time her character does seem to be silly), align all women together, or “thoughtless”
