GRONKAGRA, THE HONKING HORROR

I’ve... been playing a lot of Monster Hunter World? That’s really all I can say regarding my motivation here. Anyway, Gronkagra-- or as I affectionately refer to him, Gronk-- is a big silly goof that scavenges both carrion and fallen fruit because he is very very hungry. Mechanically, the monster is intended to exploit the Slinger Thorn mechanic by inflicting the player with a status on tail whip that causes them to take extra damage from the next hit. I pushed the raspberry/rosebush aesthetic pretty far in order to embrace the idea of something that’s rimmed with thorns and risky to touch.

OUTCASTS - VIS-DEV 01

First (?) sheet tackling this faction. 

The sufferers of the Gargoyle parasite are largely ostracized due to the disturbing symptoms that manifest in nearly all cases. Despite the fact that its progression is manageable with regular treatment, fear of its spread has driven sufferers to segregated communities that are provided little to no aid. Unsurprisingly, a significant portion of residents in this communities have been forced to take desperate action to provide for themselves and their families, going so far as to form organized gangs that have come to collectively be known as “the outcasts”. The current ringleader of these otherwise disparate groups is known only as “Jerry”. His unpredictable and often ruthless criminal tactics have driven outcast gangs further and further into violence and infighting, causing the relationship between outcasts and the unafflicted to escalate from “tense” to “a ticking time bomb”. His position is tenuous, so he relies on the fear generated by his mercilessness and narcissistic outbursts to keep his most loyal in line.
