I love your stained glass FFXIV art so much!! Would you be willing to make a tutorial on how you do it? I’d love to try it myself! :)

It's pretty easy to do. Takes a little bit of thinking as you go since you're trying to recreate the physical limitations of glass. The example is kind of bad because the design is a mess but I just started it when I got your ask. Here's the basic thought process:

I had tried overlay a glass texture but it got a little muddy at their print height (3-5") Working with darker colors is a lot more challenging. It's kind of like working with pastels, but playing with saturations more. Erenville took a lot of tweaking to get it balanced decently since I was trying to put him into a dense jungle. Use lots of layers and clipping so you can tweak everything

watched my friend play the demo and wondered where all the blood from killing an entire village went (is it t or m rating?) surely some sprayed on him when he chopped off a head

someone liked some old posts and it kind of made me be like wtf i used to paint so much better back then. retried my old technique with what i know know. granted those pics took 2wks while i spent maybe a day on this so not quite comparable. it still looks better than that phel pic tho
