Tom Brady on playing with Julian Edelman (x)
When you’ve had that level of experience of game situations, practices, we’ve had so many hours of time together talking about routes and situations. So much of the quarterback/receiver relationship is about trust. I see things a certain way, and the receiver needs to see it the exact same way in order for me to be able to anticipate where to go with the ball. He and I have just had that; this is our ninth year together on the same team, talking about the same offense. We’re so in sync.

During his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame last night, Randy Moss, formerly a wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots, wore a tie with the names of African Americans who have been slain by police officers or vigilantes, in recent years, including Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, and Alton Sterling. The powerful statement comes as the debate over peaceful protests by NFL players during the National Anthem continues, fueled primarily by President Donald Trump who falsely claims the kneeling is unpatriotic and anti-American, even though it is meant to speak out against the oppression within the American justice system against people of colour. “…There’s a lot of stuff going on in our country. And I just wanted to let these family members know they’re not alone.” - Randy Moss

I think I've found you
I think I've found you.
Thine I've been looking for.
The one that makes me smile that certain way.
Even when things are dark.
You have me singing in odd places.
Songs I'd never usually sing.
I don't know what it is you have.
But God do I want it.
Like a moth to a flame, I'm drawn to you.
