The way Solas looks at Lavellan during this scene always just pulls at my heartstrings in some way. I think he caught feelings way faster than he ever had before in his long…long life. I think his whole relationship with her is the first time in a long time he allowed himself that type of indulgence, to allow himself to fall in love. I view Solas as a very compassionate person, in truth… just look at his relationship with Cole, so he cares about people but usually from a distance. Except Lavellan. She just has this pull over him and I would venture to say it actually conserns him and we know their relationship makes him question a lot…
