I've been meaning to do this thing where I trace text off my phone for awhile and finally tried it. It works!
Someplace/Noplace is coming along. This is from page 55. I need to start lettering and publishing at around page 70. I could have started earlier, but I like having some lead.

I dream about spaces like this. I can never find the exit.
Prouder of the little game/movie posters than the stuff that took hours.

Some of the figures in the background are real. A lot are made up.

Draw, redraw, draw, redraw, draw...
The corrections are on the back of the paper, so the background I drew is still there. Redrawing sucks for speed but really helps me correct, refine, get better at drawing.

I got scared of my comic and didn't ink anything for a minute. Back on the horse. The comic horse.

Drawing. Too tired from drawing to talk about drawing.

Model sheets are done so I can photocopy and play dress up with them. Back to drawing the actual comic.

Revising my proportion sheets for Bob and Erin. I like settling as many measurements as I can as early as I can instead of trying to reinvent the wheel with every drawing. I need master drawings to refer back to because I tend to second guess myself. I have to draw a couple hundred pages of these dudes. Hopefully this makes it faster.
Kyle Baker is one of my favorite comics artist/writers and he told me at one point to not do model sheets. I still do them. Always makes me feel a little guilty.

Process. I do body and then clothes lately instead of trying to draw them both at once.
