So I rarely feel like I matter. I’ve needed new shoes badly for a month or two.My hip really hurts in worn out sneakers.

I was in the back of target working literally crying because it hurt so much just to stand.

I went out to my car to try to find my slippers.

I came back in and my friend Jack always there who was off.

He had the biggest smile on his face and pulled a brand new pair of the exact sneakers I wear in my size.

He said I didn’t get you anything for your birthday last month so …

I couldn’t believe it.These sneakers are orthopedic and cost 130.00 that I really couldn’t afford.

I looked at him dumbfounded and burst into tears.

It was the single nicest thing anyone had done for me in a long time.

It restored some of my faith in humanity. I can’t tell you how badly I needed these shoes❤️
