And "In game model vs how I draw em" came to conclusion! (At least for now)
It was very fun and I hope it motivated some people to draw their own tavs and durges :)

Moth facts!
In the book version of The Silence of the Lambs, the chrysallis that Buffalo Bill leaves in his victims is an Erebus odora, or Black Witch Moth, which looks like this:

However, the movie version decided to go with the Death’s Head Hawkmoth, a moth with a more distinct pattern.
In the movie, the moth is declared by entomologists Pilcher and Roden to be Acherontia styx, yet the moth used on the movie’s famous poster is actually Acherontia atropos. Although it’s hard to see on the poster because the moth is overlayed by art from Dalí, the discal spot (which forms the skull-shaped marking) is white in A.atropos while a darker brown-orange in A.styx. (Source)

The source website listed above also gives this interesting tidbit about the actual moths used in the movie’s production:

In addition to the species Atropos and Styx, there’s another species of hawkmoth called the Lachesis. About their names, Wikipedia says this:

Anyway, I thought this was just some cool info on my favorite insects and my favorite horror movie/book 😊
