hiya!! i’ve just found this post, and am now curious as to where you got this info! does JanitorAI have this listed anywhere officially? i’ve been trying to keep up to date on what LLMs are being trained on.

Hello everyone, I want to make a quick announcement. I'm not sure how many of you follow me specifically for my bots on Janitor AI, but If that's the case, I'm going to be disappointing you.

If you all are unaware, AO3 has recently been scraped to train an AI thing, especially stealing from every single writer who's fanfic was included. I won't lie to you all, I don't know how AI works. Not really. All I know is that things like AI "art" steal from real artists. In terms of Janitor AI and chat bots, I was not aware that the llm are based on the backs of real writers.

I want to be clear, to who follows me, that I DO NOT CONDONE AI. ESPECIALLY WHEN IN A CREATIVE SPACE. I wasn't aware chat bots are part of the issue and have recently come to realize that they are.

As such, I will not be making bots anymore and I will be privating the ones I have made now that I'm aware of the issues that they pose. I apologize for doing it in the first place and essentially shitting on a hobby that me and so many other fanfic authors do out of love. There are so many authors in this fandom I look up to and am inspired by.

I'm sorry to those who enjoy my bots and follow me for them. I'm sorry to those who requested them. But I'm not going to be continuing. I made a mistake, and I'm not going to keep making it.

her name is mel and she just spent too much time filling up our crop plots in sdv with all kinds of corn. i think the best line i've heard from her whilst doing this was "I must instill the fear of the corn gods to anyone who sets foot on this farm. They must worship Big Corn or perish."
