It is almost funny how Danny Phantom is one of those rare cases that the fans don't want the creator to be involved in new sequels or entries not even with a 200 foot stick because they know that he would probably mess it up one way or another

like. in english it's the third person that genders you. you do not control your gender with your own speech, you have to preform in order to adhere to a standardized concept of gender in order to have a chance of having the correct third person pronouns assigned by those observing you.

and it's like. in languages where you can control your gender with first person pronouns, does the third person still assign your gender? I once said "mon ami," and my better-at-speaking-french friends were like "no! you're a woman, you use ma!" As if I don't prefer being referred to with she/he. do french parents correct their french babies? is it easier to express yourself in languages where the first person pronoun is gendered?

i need to take some gender studies classes or smth it's so interesting to think about

can't stop laughing about that post that said Geralt would love ibuprophen bc yes. i think there are a lot of fantasy characters who wouldn't take pain meds from our world bc they simply would be like "i don't see the need" but geralt would be that guy who asks you to hand him some ibuprophen from your purse and you'd get out 2 and he'd say, "oh I usually take 6" and you'd say "how?? long have you been taking 6 ibuprophen at a time???" and he'd be like "i don't know, always? does it matter?" and suddenly all his recent acute GI symptoms would start making sense but also it could be unrelated because honestly what data would you have on how witcher bodies are affected by NSAIDs? you hand him 6 and hope for the best.

- Has venom tipped claws. You never can have too much self defense as a Yakuza boss.

- Collects venomous and poisonous pets. Such as his Arbok and he has a large aquarium of Pyukumukus in his office. He loves the little guys.

-As a rainwing he doesn’t really change his colors around much. Only when he needs to make himself look more intimidating or harder to read.
