Just a fun little opinion I guess but I hate when people compare every farming game to Stardew valley like it was a rip off and that Stardew valley was the first ever farming game. Just because Stardew valley got popular doesn’t mean that it’s the very first farming game and not every farming game is a rip off of Stardew valley.

If anything stardew valley is similar to harvest moon that came out way before Stardew Valley anyways lmao

stardew valley is LITERALLY a harvest moon (now known as story of seasons) fan game. back before stardew valley ever released, i remember trying to search for harvest moon fan games because i was thirsty for more (this was before there were like any other farming games similar to hm) and the only one people could name that had any promise was stardew valley. back then, it was just an early stage wiki with all the sprites in their earlier less appealing stages. i remember being so shocked when it actually came out lol

i could tell you which harvest moon/story of seasons game almost every aspect of stardew valley originated from, people need to put some respect on the og that stardew valley lovingly takes from, it drives me INSANE how people act like its something completely new that stardew does (its still a good game, dont get me wrong)

anyways the new story of seasons game just came out (story of seasons grand bazaar) and its a banger, go buy it
