experienced a special kind of autistic hell today:

tradesman comes over to look at something in your house, it turns out its a much bigger job that previously thought, now several tradesmen will be around and in and out of your house for an unknown amount of time, you can't leave because they might need something and they need access to the house but you don't wanna leave your only set of keys with them, you feel like you're being surveilled all day even they they are obviously busy doing their own work, you can't relax but you also can't do anything you want to do, your whole day's plan has changed, they were in your house for 6 hours not 1 hour as you expected and planned for, now they're gone but you've been in standby mode all day so you can't actually relax and figure out what would make you feel more relaxed, you also didn't do many of the errands/tasks you had planned for the day but now it feels like you've been hit by a bus
