The worst part about watching sonic 3 in theatres was seeing the sheer fucking amount of film remakes that corporations are releasing

Sometimes I forget that sonic forces really had sonic be kidnapped, made a prisoner of war, implied to have been tortured, shackled by his arms and legs for six whole months in space like it was no big deal, and then the whole time he was assumed to be dead by his team on top of that.

Yet here I stand once more, breathing, alive by some miracle when I should not be. As the sun rose on the horizon that morning, and my lungs filled with air, I found that my heart still beats.

And that miracle, I now understand, was you.

You, my liege, had wielded the power of legends. The Chaos Emeralds you spoke of, those tales of unimaginable power, and you, humble and noble as you are, had drawn upon their force to return me to this world.

You had returned me to this world.

How could I begin to thank you? How could I ever thank you for such a gift? To have been granted something so rare, so extraordinary, feels like a blessing beyond my worth.

I am sorry for burdening you with the grief of my absence.

Nevertheless, in that place between life and death, I saw a world beyond the one we know, a land untouched by battle. There was peace there, Sonic, peace I had long forgotten in the chaos of this life. Though even in a serene realm such as that, it dimmed without your light present.

Sire, I am grateful to be alive, for it means I may once again cherish your presence.

Chat they made Minecraft into a silly goofy cringe movie even through Minecraft is actually about life and earth and the universe and tearing meaning out of the ground and molding it with your hands into something that you can be proud of. They made the pink sheep look ugly and funny for a cheap laugh when it should’ve been a beautiful moment where you, age eleven, come across this rarity, this beautiful anomaly and you hold its face in your hands and stare into its chocolate brown eyes and you realize what the whole world is about. Chat they made it into a joke

"The movies aren't the games they're doing things differently"

Except that cutting out Amy or Rouge would create huge plot holes in most of the games that include them, so why cut them out of the movies that are based on the games?

Shadow and Rouge were introduced in the same game together, Amy Rose was introduced before Knuckles, I think there's a certain pattern going on unless this changes during the full third movie.

Maddie, Rachel and JoJo are good human characters for the movies. Despite not being part of the original games which the movies are inspired from, which is fine, but it is a Sonic franchise movie. You watch for good stories and Sonic characters we are all familiar with and eager to see.

Paramount, as heavily questionable of a corporation they are, has allowed the writers to create good movies so far, but there's undeniably a lack of Sonic women as part of the main cast in the movies - which is a stark contrast to any of the games where the women of the franchise do have main roles.

You cannot have a Sonic game without women, so you should not have a Sonic movie without the Sonic franchise women.

Sonic himself is against discrimination of any kind, so why are people surprised when Sonic fans want the women of the franchise (who play vital roles) to be represented just as much as the others?
