they said this is the cheapest marvel series ever produced. see, this is what happens when you focus on storytelling instead of unnecessary stuff no one cares about. i loved this episode so much. please, give me more low-budget marvel shows that care about the plot, the characters, and their target audience. i don't need another rdj blockbuster marvel movie. you can have that. give me meaningful stories with a low budget, made by people who truly believe in what they're creating.

Yelena: blink-182, Green Day, Against The Current, All Time Low, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy - The message most of their music contains, girls, teen angst, rage against the machine, falling in (and out) of love, it’s all her. Yelena puts on music that all but shouts “Fuck you, world! My name is Yelena and I’m not gonna follow a single one of your stupid rules!”

Natasha: Ellie Goulding, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Colbie Calliat, Sara Barielles, PVRIS, Tonight Alive - A mix of soft and hard stuff. Nat swings between the pendulum of wanting to crawl into bed and sing along to Tay-Tay’s 22 while thinking romantic thoughts and putting on one of PVRIS’ darker songs (read: the entirety of AWKOHAWNOH) and torturing the fuck out of the unlucky bastard who pissed her off that morning.

Melina: Rush, Queen, Ozzy Osbourne, Elton John, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Guns & Roses  - Melina loves the classics as far as contemporary music is concerned. The long runners who’ve been around about as long as her. On a good day, she puts on Elton John and hums along while she cleans the house, on a not so good day she puts on Rush and mourns the loss of her innocence to the tune of Red Sector A, and on a day where shit’s going down she puts on The Trooper and racks up a body count so high she makes Jack the Ripper look like an amateur.
