To avoid tumblr labelling my fics themselves, or people reporting my fics for not being labelled, or my blog being deactivated or redirected because I don’t (I don’t trust tumblr after this happened last time) I have started to use this tags but that means those of you who don’t update or check your settings when your app updates or the changes flow through WILL NOT see any content marked as mature.

If you’re using the app, then this is how to do it:

Select GENERAL SETTINGS, then CONTENT YOU SEE, then COMMUNITY LABELS and select the ones to show.

If they are set to HIDE, then all mature content gets hidden automatically, it won’t even show with a warning. If they are set to blur, then you’ll get a warning label and be able to click through and see it.

I’d also ensure that if you are an IPhone user, your account is set to allow mature content. I’ve only ever found that in the settings on my desk top.
