Through out the year 2000 there have been a wide range of different styles and trends that were popular with different cultures of people and different genders. what i mean by this is the you had the hip hop scene where it consisted of shin length shorts that were massivly over sized same the was also the same with the jeans because they were massively over sized as well with them being extra long so you had to role them up at the bottom because they would touch the floor. linking in with the jeans the tops were similar as well because the tops has that baggy and oversized element to them with another top underneath and this look was the iconic hip hop trend look that a lot of rappers and hiphop artist wore on a daily bases the shoes that were popular with the hip hop scene were adidas and nike basketball shoes that were very boxy shape.
Other this the hip hop trend being a thing there were other very popular trend that people were wear and one of the other trends were the skater/surfer look which was highly influenced by the pro skateborader toni hawlk because people want to be him and be like him because he was classed as an idol back then because people wanted to be like him. The skater look consisted of the short spiky hair on top almost like a hedge hog with blond tips, with beaded neck less around there neck with a branded top on with baggy jeans on, the colours where mostly the normally colours the denim jeans with the black top.
other then the 2 trend i have talked about there are another 2 trends that come to my head and that is the gothic/scene look and the bold standing out look which were very popular with the boy bands and girl bands and singers. the bold standing out look was very iconic to the boy bands with them wearing bold coloured clothing like the white jumpers with the light brown trousers and look like that have been inspired from the 60s because of the patterns and colours that is used. along with this look they wear the embroidered jackets that are denim with the fur because it makes a loud statement what toy look at it and gives a unique look to it. The final trend that i have think off is the scene/gothic look they are to me very plain which makes them different from the rest because this trend was popular with the heart break songs that came out and everyone had went through this stage at some point in there life because it is a very commen stage. but this look consists of the dark collars mostly black colours with the dark back eye liner with the heavy accessorise of leather bands for the wrist. with a high influnece of denim for the shorts with the short belly tops with a gothic type image of the frount.

In the 1930’s the athletic body was know as the ideal men’s boxers and superman influenced shape and this. The way that they showed of the figure was by wearing Clothing that reflected this new shape with extra broad shoulders, thin waists, and tapered legs.
The inspiration for menswear topcoat was from the British Guard Officer’s overcoats. The shoulder line of the coat would go past the shoulder to line up with the bicep. They also had Shoulder pads which helped them to keep there shoulder shape then to create that ideal body the coats would down in a v shape from the neck to the weight, this was the same with the sleeves as well wide at top narrow at bottom. The top coat was designed to make the man look more larger and more masculine.
The overcoats had pockets that were large, square. They were positioned rather high on the coat and had a button that would be used to close the pocket.
The trousers also like the jacket would spread more up the waist and the panes would hang down in long column like shapes. The legs were cuffed at the bottom, which appealed more for the causal wear and they were straight hemmed and the way they completed the look was with a pressed pleat down the centre.
Sweaters in the 30’s where know as fashion element. These where knitted double-breasted sweaters with had a V-necks and to create the classic style they had a simple 4 button closer down the middle. The sweaters where mostly knitted and made by the Housewives who took up knitting to create these for there husbands.
The men’s shoes in the 1930s continued the trend of the 1920’s, which was the classic toecap oxford, two-toned oxfords, and wingtips with brogue detail. The colors of these where normally brown/cream, black/white and lots more, these shoes would normally matched the men’s suits that they wore. There were some shoes that where brand new to the 30’s and that was causal shoes like moccasins, loafers, and rubber soled Keds. But these types of shoes would be worn at home or on a casual summer days and at sporting events. Another new fashion trend that emerged was the silk socks that came in in all sorts of colors and patterns.

The 1910s men fashion was very similar to the 1900s so there was not much change in the fashion world because the three-piece lounge suit was still worn a lot. From 1914 to about the end of the decade, lots of men were photographed in military uniform. Men’s hairstyles changed so they had their hair parted at the side or the middle and still caring on from the 1900s the Older men still sported beards and the younger men still wore moustaches or went clean-shaven.
Around about 1915-1920 men’s summer fashion started to begin, it started of with a lightweight suit that was either a two or three-piece suit. The shirts were stripy and in a pastel color with a white club tie in a bold print pattern such as paisley or poker dots. With this they would wear a straw boater or gambler hat. This was a must have items, these would also go with a two-tone boots or shoes. They also wore sack suits Men wore Sack suits. The sack suits where were long, plain colors, loose fitting suit jackets with wide lapels and a one to three button closure. Modern suits are similar but usually shorter in length and fitted.

1900′s music style.

The types of music back in the 1900 were all done by instruments, as they didn’t have technology to change the way it sounded; they did everything raw. They also relied on their voices more because they had to out sound the instrument because when they were singing, they would have the instruments right next to them as they didn’t have any backing tracks back then and had to do everything live. Listening to it on the radio wasn’t very clear because it would crackle whenever you played something on there. Whenever they sung, they would sometimes tell a story through singing. The type of music that was out in the 1900s was Jazz, Blues, Swing, Classical, Gospel, Folk, and Country. But the most popular type was jazz which started in the New Orleans area and it was created by black musicians who only performed there songs in a small band. Back then the Jazz artists didn't get much recognition or pay because of racism that was going on so people where singling them out from white singers.
Blues music originated from African Americans, by the slaves who would bring their music with them when they were getting transported in the North American colonies. Originally it would be performed by one singer who would have a guitar or banjo with them.
Jazz was made up of African music which was combined with the music of the European settlers. By doing this it produced new styles of music including jazz and blues music. Jazz music mostly consisted of string bass, banjo, clarinet, trumpet and drums. Miles Davis was one of the most important figures on the jazz scene and played a large part in introducing several new jazz styles to the world.

Decade-1900′s

In the 1900 Men wore three-piece lounge suits with bowler or cloth caps. The jackets that they tended to wear had narrow with either small or high lapels, which are, folded flaps of fabric or cloth on the front of the coat. The style of the collars that where most popular were starched and upstanding, with the corners pointing downwards. Men normally wore their collars turned down, with rounded edges on them with modern knotted ties. Also during this time Beards were mainly for older men so it would be rare to see a young man with a beards because most young men sported neat moustaches and short hair.
Men also had a different outfit for different times of day and different events that they would attend to. So for during the day men would wear morning which consisted of the typically were just jackets with a tailcoat that is cut away on a curving line from the front to the back of the jacket. Often the jackets would be paired with matching striped trousers so I would act as a one piece. Men even had evening wear which is an evening suit, which is a darker color and made from richer fabrics. Men in the 1900s where jut like women when it came to the clothes because just like women they would change clothes several times a day.
In the wintertime they would wear something completely different to what they would normally wear, so for winter months they would wear nee-length topcoats or overcoats that were made from calf-length so it would allow them to be warm and dry if it were to rain. For outdoors and shooting, men would wear something called the Norfolk coat, which was made from heavy tweed and had box pleats over the chest and back and It also had a matching fabric belt.
