I refuse to accept he was fully formed. In the lore, Biolizard would have grown too fast and too powerful, thus failing, but Gerald used Doom's blood as a stabilizer for Shadow.

In my HC he grew to near adulthood rabidly, gradually slowing down after each stage. Still trying to figure out how I wanna draw maria... this was a while ago, though, so I will try again soon.

Kids do grow up fast though, I once saw a boy grow a foot in like 3 days. Wild stuff, tbh.
